The Home Gym Upgrade You Didn’t Know You Needed

When I saw a bunch of Peloton friends chatting about the Jayflex HyperBell Bar in our Facebook group, I was intrigued. After diving in some more, I knew I had to give it a try and find out what all the chatter was about. Turns out, this might be the home gym upgrade I didn’t know I needed.

Home Gym Upgrade with Jayflex Hypeprbell

I love exercising at home. Not having to wait for equipment, no one chattering away, no sweaty people, having the privilege of taking a Peloton class at any time…I could go on and on. However, sometimes, I get FOMO when I see other people workout out at the gym with equipment I don’t have.

Jayflex

That’s where Jayflex comes in. This simple piece of equipment allow you to switch over a pair of dumbbells over to a bar bell. In under a minute, any set of dumbbells (up to 100 pounds) can be transformed into a bar bell. This is a perfect way to bring some variety into home workouts without having to purchase a whole new set of equipment.

Some of my favorite moves to use with the JayFlex are Romania Deadlifts, Bent Over Rows and Chest Presses. I’m already loving the new challenge this has provided. You can see me demonstrating it in this IG reel.

If you are looking for for one piece to upgrade your home gym experience, this is it! Great purchase that I know I will use often. What do you think? Would you use this barbell? What’s your one piece of gym equipment well worth the price?

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

An excellent and thoughtful tool! 100 pounds gives you a lot of flexibility, enough to do back squats and deadlifts!
