It’s time for some very random Runfessions and Confessions. thanks to Marcia for hosting. Let’s jump right into it this February 2026.

Random Runfessions and Confessions February 2026

I Runfess and Confess…

My husband and I are having some very heated Crossplay games! Some would say we are both competitive people but not usually with each other. However, we are competitive with our morning wordle games and now Crossplay. Who else is playing? I’m open to more games!

I Runfess and Confess…

I’ve never really been an orange or citrus fruit eater until recently. I am now completely addicted to Sumo oranges. These funny shaped, easy to peel oranges have become my new fave of late. Why are they so pricey though?

I Runfess and Confess…

No one was more surprised than I was when I looked on my Nest camera and saw 2 huge raccoons on my front door step. I have never seen any around our house before and have no idea what thy thought was so interesting right at our front door. We did not have our trash out that day and there was no food for them. Anyhow, I am hoping they go back to where they came from and do not think we are going to be friends. Ha!

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Sumo oranges, I’ll have to look out for them.

Ha, just yesterday somebody was telling me that they saw a PAIR OF LEGS on their security camera while they were away on ski holidays this month. Unfortunately, it was break-in – although the police was there within 9 minutes the damage was already done. I think they would have preferred raccoons!

Oh wow ! How scary I guess it was good they were away. Yikes

Oh yes. Sumo oranges are delicious! After my surgery all I wanted was water and those! So good! Not sure why but YUM!
I have not yet gone down the Crossplay rabbit hole. Don’t tempt me! Ha! Wordle, Blossom, Connections, Strands and Reunion are more than enough word games for now.

I am not familiar with reunion and blossom! Will have to check this out too. LMK if you ever start Crossplay!

I have never been much of an orange connoisseur either, but I’ve been trying to get more fruits & veggies on my plate. I need to try the sumos! I recently bought some blood oranges, and was disappointed they weren’t anything special (but were quite colorful).

Hurry and try the sumos before they go out of season!

I need to try those oranges!! Thanks!

I do wordle, connections, waffle, strands… no more!! lol.

Never heard of cross play and my hubby isn’t into games. Who wins??

Oh the sumos are so good!

I love mandarins as they are also easy to peel, but I don’t really like oranges. is that weird?
The only random animals we have around here are neighborhood cats luckily!

      No not weird at all!

Funny I recently started to see adds for Sumos which I thought was unusual. I’m not usually a big citrus eater either but maybe I’ll have to check them out.

I haven’t heard of Crossplay – I do get very competitive about Wordle 🙂

Check out the Sumos and cross play

The name for sumos always made me laugh because they look like radioactive mutants. I guess calling them Hiroshima would be too offensive, but more fitting. Surprised you don’t see more racoons with your wooded area. Maybe not much food source.

I guess they are very plump 🙂

I would be outside with those raccoons so fast your head would spin! Look at them!

I like red grapefruit, but not oranges.

The raccoons are a little scary t see right at the door! I love grapefruit but apparently they can interact w some meds I take so not enjoying them at the moment
