Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week was full of activity in so many ways. The week started with snow showers and ended with wedding showers. Here’s a peek into my week of fitness and family.

Snow Showers and Wedding Showers
Sunday-core + arms & intervals cycle + stretch
After a nice sleep in, I jumped on the Peloton for great arms and intervals cycle class. I forgot how much I like this format where we use our light weights for a little arm burn alternating with cycle intervals. It was just enough for the day. While I was waiting for the snow showers to arrive, I meal prepped some breakfast for the week.

Later, I figured it was as good of time as any to start pulling out my ski clothes for our upcoming trip to Aspen. I am doing this way ahead as we have a busy week ahead. Why do I have so many clothes? They are bulky! We are in the path of the snow storm again which started out as rain and intensified late day into snow showers.
Monday-standing core + lower body strength + tread walking + Pilates
Why yes we did awake to a snow covered situation again but we were spared the huge storm those north of us received. Our area got about 4 inches of wet snow which did look pretty.
I’ve started my workouts chosen by my Peloton personal trainer, Jessi. Mondays and Tuesdays will be heavier hypertrophy type lift days. I added an afternoon Pilates just for fun.

Tuesday-core + upper body + tread hike
Today’s upper body class was good and one I probably would not have picked on my own. It was assigned by my trainer. Afterwards, I jumped on the tread for a nice 20 min hike at an incline.
Wednesday -core + weighted power walk
With temps back into the 40’s and the snow melting, I was eager to get back outside for my power walk today. Later, it was Maj day with the girls. I ended up winning 2 hands yay! I’m really having fun learning.
Thursday-core + glutes & legs strength + Pilates + power walk
My morning started out with a good solid lower body class and core (picked by my trainer) followed by a Pilates class. These 10 minutes classes are nice finisher and those Pilates rings are no joke. My legs were shaking! later, I met a friend or a drizzly walk. I am always happy to get outside when I can.
Friday -upper body strength + tread walk + Wedding tasting + planning
My daughter flew in last night for a whirlwind weekend! Today was a marathon 3+ hour meeting with the caterer and florist and wedding planner. We picked the linens, table scape and all the food and flowers. Whew! It was a long and productive day. Not ready to share those pic yet. I came home exhausted but knew I would feel better after my workouts.
Saturday-Wedding Shower Day! + outdoor walk
My daughter did her makeup trial early morning before we headed to a lovely bridal shower and high tea hosted by my besties. It was a very lovely party! Here are a few of my favorite pics.

From snow showers to bridal showers! it was a busy week! 7 weeks until wedding day!

Nice job on your workouts despite your day-to-day busyness.
It looks like your besties know how to throw an amazing bridal shower. How fun! Just seven weeks until the wedding? Wow!
They sure do! I am very lucky
Looks like a fun shower. Love the hats.
Congrats on your mah jongg wins. I won 2x this week too. It’s luck. Some weeks I don’t win at all.
Can’t believe you are getting snow south.
Hope it melts and warms up by March 21. Asheville.
It is definitely luck of the draw literally! I thought I was totall screwed with my hands and then picked a bunch of jokers
What a beautiful shower! You all look so nice! It’s hard to believe the big day is almost here!
I know it’s flying by now
Looks like the shower was a lot of fun!
Packing for skiing does take some planning, especially if the weather is unpredictable. I needed all the layers in Vermont last week!
One reason I’m not excited about the Peloton personal training is that I’m not sure I’d be willing to take the classes they suggest!
Well you do have the ability to chat w your trainer and talk about which instructors you like etc
I can’t believe wedding day is almost here! That tea shower looks like a lot of fun. I love everyone’s outfits!
It was a lot of fun!
HOW EXCITING!!! You all look so beautiful, and the shower looks lovely. I have to admit, though, that I’m kind of relieved that I don’t have to plan my son’s wedding! I mean, they said I can be as involved as I want to be (or not) so I’m leaving most details up to the bride and her family. I’ll bet you’re having a lot of fun with it though.
It’s always nice to do something different- it sounds like your work with the Peloton trainer is going well so far.
Snow showers to wedding showers! What a week of contrasts, and you somehow kept the workouts steady through all of it. And all that planning on top, tastings, showers, family time. Full calendar, full heart.
Love the photos!
What a lovely bridal shower! Such great pics, amazing friends, and beautiful family!
What a week! That bridal shower and high tea looks absolutely beautiful! It is getting so real and so exciting!
Also… meetings with the caterer, florist AND wedding planner in one day? I’d be exhausted! Great job fitting in your workout after.
The Peloton personal trainer feature sounds like a game changer too. Sometimes having someone else pick the workout is exactly what you need.
Oh I was and still am exhausted!
Funny you mention packing for skiing. As you can imagine I have my gear and packing down to a science now! I really cut down a lot of the tops I used to bring. I barely wear anything other than my ski gear! Packing for Switzerland will be pretty easy since my trip to Vermont is a dress rehearsal for the Europe trip. I’ve got a great app to keep track my packing lists so I don’t forget anything. I do love a list!
The wedding shower looks so fun!
I do love a list as well. I know I bring way too many things but I like options and the weather seems to really fluctuate. I packed and shipped our stuff out in advance. I should check out the app!
What great hats and photos. Glad it all went so well.
I need to do that Olivia walk. I thought about it Friday but had the book going and didn’t want to switch
It was a lovely and exhausting few days!
High tea for the Bridal Shower! I love it. How fun!
It was really nice!
