Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. Nothing super exciting to report this week just kind of cruising through July. Here’s a peek into my week.

Sweating through July Weekly Run Down
Sunday-power walk + stretch
Today is a rest day from my HiLit+ program so I took a sweaty power walk and stretch class. Looking forward to week 2 tomorrow.

Monday-tread walk + lower body strength + low impact cardio + afternoon walk + stretch
I had a full stack today for the start of week 2 of HiLIt. The lower body class had more sets and more weight. I will certainly feel those tomorrow. I paired that and the low impact cardio with a few tread walks and a late afternoon walk with a friend,
Tuesday-reformer Pilates + 60 min walk
Today was my weekly reformer Pilates class followed by the HiLIt+ weekly long power walk. It was in the high 80’s by the time I got out there and it was a sweaty one. Later, met some friends for dinner and totally forgot to take a picture. I’m seriously slacking in that area lately.
Wednesday-upper body strength + low impact cardio + tread walk
Today’s 45 min upper body class was challenging in a good way. I am sticking with the low impact cardio and glad that no one else can see me doing it lol. I never feel super coordinated with those moves. It was 100 degrees again today so my walk was on the tread.
Thursday-Pilates + power walk
45 min is about my limit for a mat Pilates class but I got it done. With the combination of the extreme heat and the unhealthy air quality, today’s walk was on the tread.
Friday-low impact cardio + lower body strength & core + tread walk
Today’s lower body strength class really cranked up a notch today-whew I’m going to feel that. With the air quality in a dangerous zone here as well due to the Canadian fires, my walk was again on the tread. Even my google Nest was not happy.
Saturday-upper body strength + core
I added in another upper body core class with Andy to finish off the week strong. Major storms rolled in but will knock out the smoke and bring us back to our regularly scheduled heat, humidity and summer storms-lol. Has not been the best summer weather thus far.
