Wrapping Up A Busy October

Wow this month has been super busy! Between juggling some last minute issues with Ragnar, planning our MRTT holiday party and organizing our girls on the run end of the season events, I am a little overwhelmed at the moment. I did, however, get in most of my usual workouts this week. I am wrapping up a busy October with Hoho and Wendy.

Wrapping up a busy October

Sunday- Hot yoga class

Now that it’s cooler out, I am loving adding back in more hot yoga classes especially the day after a long run.

Monday- 30 m walk + 60 m strength training

Legs were a little tired today so mostly focused on upper body and core. In case you missed last week’s Meatless Monday recipe, here’s one more look at my Berry-licious Oatmeal Breakfast Bake. I will be whipping up another one for this week.

Tuesday- 4.25 mile run

Loving these nice cool temps! Completely overdressed for my run and was sweating by the end. Usually takes me a few weeks to figure out my wardrobe when the weather changes.

Wednesday- 90 m strength training and kick boxing

Always love my Wednesday workouts. This week we worked on doing some more challenging side plank combos. Missed my afternoon walk today due to rain.

Thursday- 3.25 mile run + 60 m hot yoga

Legs felt heavy today but got in a short run. Was able to squeeze in a noon hot yoga class too.

Friday- rest day

I must have slept funny and woke up with a pinch in my shoulder blade. Figured it was a sign to take a day off.

Saturday-Hot yoga

We woke up to a very rainy and cold morning. Perfect day to meet my friend, Coco for a hot yoga class and lunch.

Sunday- run on the plan

Mot sure how far  going to see how I feel.

It is SO damn hard figuring out what to wear in the transitional months. I’ve definitely been struggling with it.

That berry bake looks scrumptious & I did miss it. I’ll have to take a look at it.

Have a wonderful time in Napa! I know you will!

That is a gorgeous tree in your title photo! I forget how to dress when the temps drop as well. Today, I wore a T-shirt and immediately wished it was a tank top. How fun to spend some time with Coco! She is on my “must meet” list (while you have moved over to “must spend more time with” list 😉 ). Y’all are too cute in those patterned leggings. Good luck at Ragnar! Hope the weather cooperates too. Thanks for linking!

You had a great week. I have to remind myself of what layers I wear for what temperatures, and definitely wear more this time of year than once I’m used to it. That shouldn’t be a problem in Napa though! You will have so much fun!

Sounds like a great week of workouts! I really want to love Hot Yoga but I just can’t get into it. I don’t even mind the mega sweating especially when it’s cold out.

when it’s cooler out, hot yoga is my favorite especially after a run. I find I get a much better stretch with the warmth

That berry cobler looks delicious! I want to come to your house for breakfast. I have yet to take a hot yoga class this fall. I like taking those when the weather cools off. I could not imagine taking one in the summer.
