Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week, I did my best to get back On track with my normal eating and workout routine. Here’s how my week went.

Back On Track Weekly Run Down
Sunday-lower body strength + low impact cardio + outdoor walk
I am finally back on the right time zone and I could not wait to get back to gym. I decided to restart Rebecca’s program that I loved so much. I’m starting back on week 2 of 6. then it was time for the start of football season! Thankfully, our Philadelphia Eagles pulled it out in the end and started the season off strong.
Monday-upper body strength + core + power walk
Back in my gym for a bonus upper body and core class. Later, I met a friend for a power walk. It felt great to get my weighted vest back on as well. I expect to be sore tomorrow in a good way!
Tuesday-power walk + Pilates reformer class
It was gorgeous this morning and a nice walk before Pilates class was a perfect way to get rid of some soreness. I knew I would be sore today (in a good way) after getting back at it.
Wednesday -tread hike + upper body strength + low impact cardio
I was worried that I might have lost some strength while traveling and was happily surprised when I picked up my 30’s for my chest presses today. I was tight on time and a quick tread hike was perfect. Later, it was mahjong Wednesday. I missed my girls and the game.
Thursday-long walk + reformer Pilates
I took advantage of the nice weather and got in a 4.5 mile walk this morning. Later, I headed to a Pilates reformer class where I tried the next level class. I think I finally found the challenge I am looking for coupled with the stretching and core work.
Friday-low impact cardio + lower body strength & core
I finished off the week with a tough lower body class. It feels good to be sore again. I was worried I may have lost some strength while traveling but I’ve been able to pick up right where I left off.
Saturday-Pilates core
Today was an active recovery day with a Peloton core Pilates class. I had a bunch of projects around the house on my list for today including repotting this plant in our bathroom. This is not a skill in my wheelhouse and I was very proud of myself.
It feels good to be back on schedule. I’m definitely someone who thrives on routine.

It always feels so good to get back on track! I am sooo loving Rebecca’s HiLit classes. Thanks so much for suggesting them to me. Glad you found a Pilates class that’s nice and challenging for you!
I had a feeling you would love them too! I’m feeling stronger than ever
I prefer routine as well!
Nice job getting back at it! You clearly didn’t lose as much strength as you feared if those 30s were still there for the chest presses!
