Hello December Weekly Run Down

Hello December! Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. It was another busy week over here that really just flew by! I’m determined to get my workouts in and join my favorite December Peloton challenge. #3for31 calls for a 30 minute or 3 mile run/walk everyday in December. I got this!

Hello December Weekly Run Down

Sunday- power weighted vest walk

We woke up to cold and rainy morning. I was determined to get outside anyway and get those steps in. Thankfully, I had plans with a friend to do just that which made it easier to get outside. Later, it was more clean up, laundry and back to the grocery!

spicy tofu and veggies was just what my body was craving.

Monday-core + upper body strength and hike

Hello December and hello Monday! It felt really good to get in a nice strength lift followed by a tread hike. I then went over to my parents’ house again to help them with a few things. Somehow, I did not hit my 13,000 step goal which was odd because I sure felt like I was running up and down their stairs all afternoon!

Tuesday-lower body strength + tread hike + core

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the format of this split strength program plus hike with Rebecca. I used a walk class as a warm up followed by the strength and hike.

Later, it was another fun meet up our new mahjong group. I’m finally getting the hang of it maybe?!

Wednesday-tread hike + upper body strength + core

A shorter but spicy upper body strength workout sandwiched between the tread walk and core class.

Thursday-upper body strength + hike + outdoor power walk

Winter sure rolled in today and it was freezing and windy. I got in my strength and hike workout done before meeting a friend for a chilly walk. Always glad we get out there and we warmed fast. It was my first good wearing walk.

Friday-core + lower body strength + hike

We had our first snow of the season today. While my workout was all indoors, I did of course pop out for photos in the snow. Holiday nails on point!

I also had my first Udon soup of the season. It sure hit the spot!

Saturday-45 min tread walk + core

We had a nice sleep in this morning until 9 which was fabulous. I did a quick and effective tread walk and core before heading out.

I was lucky enough to be the plus one for a fun event at the Lamborghini dealership where I got to do a test drive, take a flower arranging class, enjoy champagne and afternoon tea. What’s not to love!

That Lamborghini event looked SO fun! I can commiserate on the holiday nails… I did mine Wednesday, LOL! More snow here, from yesterday… I guess I’ll be snow-walking later (after I clear the driveway…again).

The snow was so pretty and didn’t affect driving so that was a bonus! I love your sweater, it’s snow pretty! 😉
Oh hey, you were out in my neck of the woods when you visited the Lamborghini dealership. It sounds like you and your friend had a fantastic time!

Sounds like a super fun week. I love the nails, and is that a cup warmer around your mug in that photo? Like a little mug sweater? It’s cute!

I wish I had the skills to arrange flowers! Your arrangement looks so pretty. Sounds like a very fun event! Is that green car a Lamborghini? I thought they only had race cars. One of our neighbors has an orange one. It always gets a lot of looks when he drives it through the ‘hood! 🙂
Is your mahjong group all new players like you, or a group you joined?

    • Deborah Brooks says

      12/08/2025 at 9:25 am

They taught us how to do the flowers! There is a newish Lambo SUV model that they are marketing towards womeb

I love your Snow Bunny sweater! Who made it? 🙂

You even got some snow. It’s been pretty cold here in NorCal (coldest day in a few years today apparently) but at least dry for the marathon runners in town. I am glad we don’t get snow at our elevation 🙂

Yes its a cute sweater from wild fox 🙂
