Hello April! Thanks for popping in to join me and Coco for the April 2026 Ultimate Coffee Date. Catching up with friends over coffee is the one of my favorite activities. So let’s jump right in!

April 2026 Ultimate Coffee Date
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
I would ask you-Does everything run on east coast standard time or does it just seem that way to us east coasters? While traveling out in Colorado last month, I noticed a few things. Being on mountain time which was 2 hours earlier than Eastern Standard time can really throw you off. We would wake up to find a full email in box and numerous missed calls and texts. The world, it seems, works on east coast time. If you wait until mid afternoon to reach out to businesses for example, they are already closed. If you live in California or somewhere on the west coast, do you feel this?

We are in the final stretch of all our wedding planning! It’s crunch time with the big day just 2 weeks away. This week was spent doing the final touches on gift boxes for out of town hotel guests. I wanted to have a project of my own and this was it. It was fun to do these and put my personal touch on them. I’m not ready to share everything yet, but these came out super cute.
As wedding planning is often compared to running a marathon not a sprint, I can relate. We must be in the last 5K at this point. Thanks for stopping in for coffee and chats today!

Two weeks to go! I love that you carved out your own project with the gift boxes. You must show us a picture when they are finished – those water bottles are really adorable!
How many guests will you be having at the wedding?
We have almost 200 guests but many are out of town guests so I have made 70 boxes for hotel rooms
Wow, two weeks and counting – your head must be spinning! Those water bottles are adorable and I can’t wait to see what else you’re putting into the goodie boxes.
I’ve never really noticed the changes in time zones when traveling out west expect for of course if I need to change a doctor appointment or something I know is on east coast time. Hmmm, I’ll have to pay more attention this summer!
My head is spinning for sure!!
I work with teams in Europe who adjust their schedules to align business hours — so they start their day “late” over there. When I’m in Europe I get frustrated how late in the day people back home get started — I have to wait until mid-afternoon to talk to anyone!
Those water bottles are adorable! I can’t wait to see all the wedding details.
Yes the time zones with different countries are even more complicated
Have fun with crunch time and remember to breathe! The water bottles are super cute!
Doing my best thanks!!
Ooh, two weeks! It’s almost here!!! I hope we get to see details of the gift boxes later on. The water bottles are amazing.
Yes, it must be weird to live on the west coast! I’m sure they’re used to it, but yes it does seem like everything runs on east coast time.
Yes I will share al my cure inserts soon!
Just two weeks – wow how exciting! I’m sure the gift boxes will be super cute – those water bottles are adorable.
Thanks we are so excited
Woot!! The final 5K of your wedding marathon is in sight. Sprint to the finish, LOL, and enjoy the post-finish line celebration:-)
Yes that is the plan
Two weeks! How exciting! Love the water bottles and can’t wait to see all of the fun unfolding. The wedding “taper” crazies are real so I hope things go smoothly!
Definitely in the home stretch of everything
Yes! Mountain time is the worst. I found that people tend to be on the east or west coast so times are adjusted to suit. I also lived in El Paso/NM so a lot of things were on Central time and people would forget we were on MT and I would miss so many things!
Yes I imagine that would happen!
