You all know that I am always looking for useful accessories to make my Peloton experience more effective and of course, comfortable. I was excited to learn about and try the Aerow ComfortGrip Handlebar Extender for Peloton bikes. Here is my fast Friday review of this practical piece. This post is sponsored by Aerow and all opinions are my own.
Aerow Handle Bar Extender for Peloton Bikes
For me, this is one of those “why didn’t I think of that products”! I could tell as soon as I saw the photo that I would enjoy using it with my bike. Basically, it is a simple cushioned grip bar that easily attaches right to the handlebars. Let me tell you more.
Why use a Handle Bar Extender?
While the Peloton bike handlebar can adjust up and down, it cannot be adjusted to move closer to you. The original bike bar is also hard (like every spin bike I’ve tried). During a long class, this can get uncomfortable and even lead to wrist soreness. Popping on the Aerow handlebar allows for a softer placement of your hands and wrists and also brings the bar closer to you. This, in turn, can help with better posture on the bike and a more effective workout.
How does it attach?
No equipment is needed! The 3 inch thick handlebar extender is one piece that fits right onto your bar in seconds. It will easily fit right onto an original Peloton or a bike plus set up.
Final Thoughts
If you have ever felt like your handlebar was not quite right or just wished it could be a little closer to your body, Aerow handlebar extender is for you. I like the softer feeling of resting my hands on the foam grip. Using the Aerow may help to reduce tightness in your lower back from reaching and provide a more comfortable ride. Interested? And this is why I did not get a Peloton bike. I felt like the bike was too large for my short torso. Sounds like a great solution!

I think many people had that feeling on the handlebars. This is a great solution I did not know I needed until I tried it

Good to know if I ever get a peleton.
Definitely helpful to be comfortable.
Deborah Brooks says
It really helps to be more comfy on the bike
Kimberly Hatting says
That does look much more comfy than the standard bar! I don’t have a Peloton set-up, but I often wonder about my posture when I’m cycling with Sebbe… especially on a long spinning session.
Deborah Brooks says
Posture is definitely important especially on longer rides

Well, of course now I’m seeing all sorts of deals on Peloton bikes! If I had the space I would consider it- I’ve been using my son’s room as my “home gym” but I think if he came home and found a Peloton bike in his room, it would be a bit much. These handlebar extenders look great. I’m looking forward to your Peloton gift guide!

Well, maybe he would like to share it with you! 🙂

I had not heard of it either but I really like it!
