I have heard many people say that running is such a simple sport and that all you need is a pair of running shoes. Well, a pair of shoes certainly helps but that’s not all you need. I am sharing my Summer Running Essentials From Head to Toe. This post contains affiliate links.
Summer Running Essentials From Head To Toe
Let’s start from the top! For the longest time I did not feel comfortable wearing hats while running, Last summer, I discovered this Lululemon hat and it quickly became my favorite. It’s light and comfortable with a generous pony tail opening. The bill is a little longer so it’s perfect for those rainy runs. They offer different colors seasonally.
Sunglasses are an essential for summer runs of course. I fell in love with Knockarounds after testing them out for Bibrave last year. I have now amassed quite a collection from their every growing color selection. They are light with polarized lenses and at a price point around $20 a great buy.
I have been so much more vigilant about sunscreen the past few years and have tried many. This SuperGoop GlowScreen with 40 SPF is my new favorite. It offers a slight tint of color but most importantly, does not sting my eyes when I sweat. I will be sharing more in depth on my summer skin care go to’s Friday. For full body, I really like their “Play” spray on with SPF 50. It’s sweat proof and waterproof yet does not feel sticky on. For your eyes only- Bright eyed 100% mineral eye sunscreen. Love love love.
Hydration is a complicated issue! I will be reviewing the Orange Mud hydration vest. These are the two I currently use. The Nathan waist pack holds 2 twelve ounce insulated bottles and has a very large storage pocket. I just got this Orange mud pack and will be sharing my thoughts in next week’s post.
Tell me, what are your summer running essentials? Anything I should check out?
