Oh it’s been a crazy March! After months of having lots of time to agonize over wedding plans, we are now just a few weeks out from the big event. Now things are coming in hot and fast! I’ve got a few runfessions and confessions to share. Thanks to Marcia for hosting.

March 2026 Runfessions and Confessions
I runfess and confess…
All of the wedding planning stress must also be manifesting itself in nesting and organizing. For some reason, I’ve decided to try to organize closets and kitchen drawers and cabinets amidst all the other chaos. Once I went down the rabbit hole on Amazon with bath and kitchen organization, there was no going back. My husband just shakes his head and asks, why (in a nice way of course). I thought we really needed these new containers by the sink. Who doesn’t appreciate motion activated night lights in our master bath?

I runfess and confess…
A few weeks ago, the hubs and I went to check out a new Japanese grocery store. We were looking to get a heads up on all things Japan in advance of our upcoming trip. More on that later! Anyway, we bought a couple of food items to check out. Most were non perishable sauces and things but 2 were perishable. We threw the bags in my trunk.

Apparently, we forgot we had put them there and I found them a week and a half later after we returned from our ski trip. Super gross! I am kind of fanatical about keeping my car super clean and never leave even a water bottle in there. I guess my brain is just on other things!
That’s about all I’ve got to runfess and confess today! See you next week for the ultimate coffee date!

Oh dear about those Japanese groceries! That’s exactly the kind of thing that happens when your brain is full of wedding logistics. 😅
Japan sounds like an interesting destination!
Yes it is to both!
Yikes on the Japanese groceries! My hubby did the same thing with some shrimp and lobster of all things. I wondered why my car smelled bad. It was disgusting! That’s so funny the wedding is bringing out your nesting instinct!
It is funny how we really were excited about what we bought and then totally forgot about everything
Oh no, I hope your car didn’t have a foul odor after housing those perishable items for over a week. I can totally understand that your brain has plenty of other things to focus on right now, though!
Yes, my brain is full 🙂
Oh no, what a not-so-nice “welcome back home” find. At least it wasn’t in the heat of summer, right? I’m excited for you & the upcoming festivities:-)
Ha yes bright side for sure
Oh no on those groceries – yikes! I’m fanatical about keeping my car too – Hopefully things didn’t smell too bad!
Ha luckily not too bad
Oh, no! That must have been awful to come home to that mess in the car! I hope you were able to get it all cleaned out and that it didn’t smell too badly!
It wasn’t too bad just kind of funny
