Thanks for joining Sarah and me for Meatless Monday. I am doing something totally different today with meatless Monday! We had a big family brunch planned for yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and I wanted to offer something fun and springy. Everyone loves a make your own ___ bar and it’s always neat to “mix it up” a bit (ha see what I did there?). That’s How To make a Spring Bubbly Bar came about.
With all the goodness of fresh fruit and juices, guests are able to create their own healthy or semi-healthy drinks full of their favorite ingredients. We offered juice, champagne and sparkling water along with a variety of fresh fruit. I was able to quickly set this bar up in just a few minutes and it really was the centerpiece of our brunch. Here’s how to create your own spring bubbly bar.
Spring Bubbly Bar
Pre-Party planning
Paper Goods: Using champagne glasses makes creating drinks more fun. I found super reasonable plastic champagne flutes and a this fun bubbly bar banner right on amazon. Using fun colored straws gives a pop of spring color and people seem to love sipping out of them. (amazon affiliate links)
Purchase your juices:
We offered grapefruit, orange, cranberry and Pink Lemonade to our guests. With that combination, the kids and the adults would have lots of choices to create their favorite mix.
Fruit mix ins:
With all of the spring fruit starting to come out, the possibilities are endless. We chose strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, pineapple and orange. Cutting up your fruit the night before is a huge time saver.
The bubbly stuff:
Having both champagne and sparkling water allows all of your guests to choose whichever bubbly suits them. My family and friends loved making their own fun cocktails hope yours does too!

What a great idea! We had mimosas at a brunch last week, and I noticed a few of the guests declining, probably because they didn’t want to drink the alcohol in the morning. I wish we had thought to include fruit juices and sparkling water! I’ve pinned this so I remember before we plan our next brunch 🙂
Oh great hope it works out for you all too!
