We are flying through September and that means it’s time for the Runfessions and Confessions. A time where we have the opportunity to share just about any interesting tidbits from the last month. So here goes! Thanks to Marcia for hosting.
September 2024 Runfessions and Confessions
I Runfess and Confess…
I needed to order a new set of 12 soup bowls of the upcoming holidays. As I was taking them out of the box and stacking them on the counter, I broke one of them. Of course my husband was standing right there just observing the whole thing. I didn’t even have time to make up a story about why we now have a new set of 11 bowls. Thankfully, the dinner I plan to use them for is only for 10 people!
I Runfess and Confess…
I admit I was a little leery when one of my besties set my husband and I up on a double blind date! There was a couple she was friends with that she knew we would hit it off with. Between their schedule and our busy travel schedule, it took us all summer to plan our date. We went out to dinner last weekend and immediately hit it off. We realized we had some mutual friends and couldn’t believe we had not met before. So happy we went on this blind date and thrilled to have another couple to hang out with.
I Runfess and Confess…
As a lifelong vegetarian and now pescatarian, I had never tried collagen. About 2 months ago, I started using a new protein powder that had collagen in it. I never really thought much about it honestly until I realized my hair was looking much fuller and longer. When I went to my hair dresser last week, he immediately noticed a change in my hair. I guess collagen really does improve your hair and nails! In case you’re interested, this is the protein powder.
That’s all my confessions and runfessions for this September 2024. See you for the Ultimate Coffee Date next week.

That’s interesting about the collagen! We’ve been using it for a few years now and I always wonder if it’s a waste of money. Good to hear that it has a visible effect!

Ooh, a blind couples date! I’ve never heard of such a thing, but it should happen more often.
Bummer about those bowls. In our house, my rule is if you’re the one who broke the plate, you’re the one who has to eat from an unmatched plate at dinner. Luckily for you you didn’t need all twelve!
