October 2025 Runfessions and Confessions
i confess and Runfess…
I just “love it” when my husband tries to “help” on days that he works from home. Last week, we had some workmen in the house and he thought he would lock our bedroom door since they didn’t need to go in there. Once they left, he realized that we didn’t have any of those keys above the doors that can unlock them.

I Runfessions and Confess…
I have never run out of gas however I do confess to waiting until my tank is very low before getting gas. My car is very good at alerting me when I’m running low and yes, I tend to wait until I have 20 miles left. This drives my husband crazy when he gets in my car and sees it low. I confess to kind of doing it on purpose sometimes just to see his reaction. Ha ha.
I Runfess and confess…
when the kids were growing up, Halloween was my favorite holiday. I really miss dressing up with the kids and handing out candy to the neighbors. Our current house does not get too much foot traffic so I don’t bother decorating anymore. I guess I will be patiently waiting to have some grandkids to trick or treat with!
Perhaps I should pull out my skeleton on the Peloton again this week?!

that’s about all I’ve got for today’s October 2025 Runfessions and confessions. See you next Friday for the November Ultimate Coffee Date.

Ha ha. That’s me. I wait until I have to get gas.
Yes. I miss dressing up. I used for my previous jobs and some races.
Love your skeleton outfit.
I miss dressing up with the kids too!
I dressed up at work yesterday, and so did maybe 20 others. It was great seeing that there are others not afraid to be in the Halloween spirit 🙂 That said, the Halloween decorating mojo is running in empty since it’s just Max and me (and he’s oblivious anyways). I’m pretty OCD on the gas thing now…too paranoid!
I do miss the Halloween spirit of dressing up. I’m out of town this year so doesn’t really feel like Halloween
I can relate on the gas. I’ve been known to let my tank get down to the 10 mile mark – it makes my husband nuts LOL
Skeleton on the Peloton is iconic! We only get a few bunches of kids and it seems to be less every year so we’ll see what this year brings. I get nervous when I have under 100 miles of gas. My kids tell me I’m nuts but I like a large margin of safety.
I dressed up for work yesterday. This year was strange. We have had a large influx of immigrants to our practice, and none of them celebrate Halloween. I’m sure they thought I was really weird–but they didn’t say anything. We got a handful of trick or treaters at our house, but the numbers have really dwindled over the past couple of years.
I do the same thing with gas, lol
We are the opposite. I fill up as soon s the gas tank dips below halfway. My husband likes the light to come on.
We didn’t hand out candy this year at all, so not sure how many kids came around. We always would get great traffic in years past and it was always so much fun.
LOL on the hubs “helping” out! Did a neighbor have one of those little keys to let you back into your bathroom or how did you eventually get in?
ha no I had to use a small little screwdriver from a travel set that I found! I love it when he helps lol
