Loving Lately Summer 2024 edition

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a “Loving Lately” post and well, there are a number of things I’m loving lately. Here are my top picks for summer 2024 fitness and food faves.

Loving lately summer 2024

Loving Lately summer 2024-Fitness and Food Faves

FlavCity Butter Coffee Protein powder

Newly obsessed! This FlavCity Butter Coffee protein powder checks all the boxes for me. First, it tastes amazing like an iced coffee but better. Second, it is packed with 25 grams of protein before you mix it with milk of your choice. Additionally, it is made from high quality whey protein with collagen and a bit of caffeine. Zero added sugar seals the deal for me. There are a number of other flavors as well. Too good to pass up!

Hydrant Hydration zero sugar

Summer is made for electrolytes. With a subtle flavor, and no added sugar, these Hydrant hydration packs are my go to for sweaty runs and workouts. They have just the right amount of magnesium, potassium, and sodium and Zinc. They mix easily into your water with no aftertaste. Try the variety pack!

Weighted Vest

Weekly run down

I’ve become sort of obsessed with this weighted vest for walking. I’ll be doing a full review soon of al the benefits and my experience so far. If you are looking to add a little resistance to your walks, you can’t go wrong with one of these colorful, comfy vests. Available in numerous colors and sizes.

Ninja Cremi

I mentioned that my old model of the Ninja Cremi had a situation in my last runfessions post. Since then, Ninja has replaced my unit and I’m back in business! What am I loving lately about my Ninja? I’ve been making my version of a high protein lemon icee.

Loving lately

Recipe:

1 1/2 Cups of Fairlife skim milk

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

2 Tbl of frozen lemonade concentrate

combine all ingredients and freeze. Add to the Ninja on “lite ice cream” setting and spin into a delicious high protein, healthy treat! It’s perfect for summer. You can make ice cream, smoothie bowls, etc.

That’s what I’m loving lately this summer 2024. What are you loving lately?

That high protein lemon ice does sound very tempting and healthy, too!

I am loving the lemon icee for summer. Stay tuned for my review of the weighted vest. I would not use it for a run but I am loving it for my walks right now

That protein powder sounds delicious! I’ve been using Momentous chocolate powder and making smoothies with bananas, almond butter and milk. So good in this hot weather!

I’ve been thinking abut that weighted vest since you first posted about it. Since I seem to be walking more these days it seems like a great idea.

I am really enjoying using it. I’ve started light to make sure it did not hurt my back. I plan to do a full review for next Wednesday
