Well the Holiday Season is upon us! If you are anything like me, you have already over committed to too many parties, holiday gatherings and volunteer positions. While this is certainly what the spirit of the Holiday Season is all about, it can also be quite stressful and exhausting. Often times, this extra Holiday Cheer falls into the laps of the moms in the house.
I am thinking we moms may just need a little extra self pampering this Holiday Season. As I was pushing my overloaded basket through Costco the other day, I noticed that many of the P&G health and beauty products I regularly use were right there next to the pharmacy. I also noticed that they were way less expensive.
I then got another brilliant idea! Why not do a little self gifting and give myself a bit of a #HolidayGlow? After all, we moms need to stay healthy and beautiful inside and out so we can take care of the rest of the family. I know you are with me so far.
Here’s my plan on how to take just a little time out of your busy Holiday Schedule and #GiftYourself a little #HolidayGlow.
I’ve prepared an easy #HolidayGlow basket for myself with all the goodies I found at Costco. Here’s my step by step plan to give yourself the gift of health, beauty & relaxation this month. A little bit goes a long way!
-Carve out an hour of uninterrupted time just for you! The hardest step but it can be done.
-Fill a basket will all of your favorite health & beauty products. I’ve filled mine with Pantene Advanced Care Shampoo & Conditioner, Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream, Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash, Venus Swirl razor and Crest 3D White Strips.
-Escape (alone) to your bathroom & fill your tub with nice warm water (the Olay Body Wash makes for great bubbles)
-Light some candles and pop on some of your favorite tunes.
-Enjoy a cup of tea or a nice glass of wine.
-Apply the 1 hour Crest 3-D White strips and sink into your bath.
-Take the time to wash & condition your hair and shave your legs-aah nice.
-Relax and enjoy your #HolidayGlow.
Emerge from your mini escape feeling fresh, clean and sporting a nice #HolidayGlow. Feel just a little better inside and out. A refreshed and relaxed mom is a happy mom.

I’ve been running myself ragged lately- I could use a little glow in my life!
It is so nice to take just a little time out for yourself and relax a bit. It does wonders!
Oh that bath looks so nice right now, ahh….. I can’t wait to have a moment to relax.
It’s a crazy time of year and taking a few minutes out helps!
Ahhh A little pampering around the holiday always feels a little extra special to me…. I never thought to use body wash in bath water though. What a great idea and makes perfect sense.
Thanks it is so nice to take a little time out for yourself to relax this time of year
I need to pamper myself…hahah. I told my massage therapist I can’t see her until January!!
Well that’s not good! We all need a little pampering this time of year.
oooo that sounds perfect!
It’s the little things sometimes!
oh my god! What an awesome post to be able to do! Shopping at CostCo? I already do that like a thousand times a month but next time it will be for me!
I know! It’s important to take care of yourself this time of year too.
You had me at Costco!
It is a great place to find everything for everyone on your list!
Great idea for a gift to give yourself. I’m not a mom, but I DEFINITELY need to unwind soon! I can’t remember the last time I had a bubble bath!
OH bubble baths are the best! WE all need a little pampering this time of year
Great idea! Sounds so relaxing! I haven’t had a bubble bath in a long while, I am so due for one! 🙂
I think you are! Treat yourself 🙂
I’d like to escape to the tub with a nice basket of goodies right now!
I think you should!
My holiday glow is getting my hair cut & colored and having a facial and my eye brows waxed. I always feel so great afterwards.
That works for me too!
This sounds like heaven! I am in !
It does doesn’t it? Sometimes it’s the little things
I’m all about that self gifting. In fact, I’ve been doing a lot of self gifting!
I am with you! Good for you 🙂
The crazy ends in a week for us. I’ll be ready for that holiday glow by then.
Oh good! I’ve another week of it then off to relax with the family.
Love this because we always forget to take care of ourselves during the holidays!
I know we can forget to take care of ourselves and then everything else falls apart!
Nice idea! I didn’t realize they came out with the 1 hour white strips! I’m probably due for that, given the copius quantities of coffee I drink!
They really do help! I love that I can pop them on shower and get ready and they are done.
I’ll just follow your holiday glow plan. Even the name sounds relaxing.
Thanks hope you find some me time this holiday too!
I love all these products. I am ready to take your lead on this one Deborah.
Thanks! Finding time for yourself to relax is so important go for it
These are some great tips. I’m all about a nice glass of wine to unwind during the hectic days of the season.
sounds like a great plan to me!
This looks absolutely perfect for helping me to relax right now. With trying to get as much done as I can before the baby arrives, I’m running myself a little ragged right now.
You definitely want to stay relaxed! I am so excited for you can’t wait to hear the big news
This sounds like a lovely way to unwind 🙂
It does doesn’t it?!
I love the idea of gifting yourself. Taking time out for yourself in this crazy season is a sanity-saver!
I know it can be! Hope you find some time for yourself too!
What a great idea! I think this could also be easily done for my mom this year, thanks for sharing!
It’s super easy to make but looks like it took a long time 🙂
Oh I would LOVE to escape for a nice bath like that. I really need some time to relax and refresh this holiday season. Taking care of me needs to be more of a priority! #client
Sometimes the little things like taking some time out for yourself really help to reduce stress don’t they!
