About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

The Last Thing He Told Me is on my TBR! I just finished Cory Reese’s book (Stronger Than the Dark) and my son is nagging me to re-read the Harry Potter books (he just finished re-reading them all.) I’m not sure if i’m up for that much of a project, but i’ll planning to read just the first one. There’s too many books on my TBR list to spend time re-reading old ones!

Not that I don’t love every single one of your posts, but you know I LOVED this one. I’ve had the ElinH on my wishlist since you posted about it and Daniel Silva! His on sale now email this morning had me scrambling to Amazon, but no it’s still tomorrow. Is it midnight yet? LOL. CAn’t wait to discuss that one with you
Off to read up on the rest
I just finished Spike Carlsen’s A Walk Around The Block – toddler curiosity meets a writer. Fun one if you’re in the mood for some non fiction

I am able to read more in the summertime so I am getting in all of my faves. Golden Girl was really good. I am eagerly awaiting my Daniel Silva. If you need something to hold you over. Elin H did a “quarter novel” sequel to 28 summers which I am currently listening to on audible. YEs we can discuss Silva in a few weeks
