The first week of the New Year is in the books! Hello 2019 I am glad to see you. I love the start of new opportunities and blank pages in my calendar. I am so happy to be back on my regular schedule after vacation last week. Joining in on the Weekly Wrap with Wendy and Hoho to recap this first week of January.
Weekly Wrap Hello 2019
Sunday- 3 mile run & 30 min Peloton class
First run back from vacation always feels a little challenging but I could not wait to get back out there. Did a little 3 mile run and hopped onto the Peloton for 30 min ride. Feeling better already!
Monday- 20 m Peloton Class + 60 min strength training
So happy to be back in my home gym and sweating it out before heading out to meet friends for New Year’s Eve dinner. How cute are these champagne bottle leggings?
Tuesday- 3 mile run & New Year’s Day Breakfast
It has become our yearly tradition to run over to the traveling LOVE sign on New Year’s Day. I missed my crew and it was fun to catch up. And yes, I wore the same champagne leggings again!
Wednesday- 90 min strength training and boxing
Worked on some of my favorite challenging stability ball moves today. In case you missed my Do Anywhere Full Body Stability Ball Workout check it out here.
Thursday- 5 mile run and 60 m hot yoga class
Can’t stop won’t stop!
Friday- 40 min Peloton classes
I am really getting into my Peloton and loving the classes so far. Since I wanted to do a live class, I ended up doing 2 20 min classes back to back.
Saturday- 4 mile run
The mid 40’s are my sweet spot for running temps. Felt great out there this morning and even did a few pushups at the top of hill.

Yes, those are some cute leggings! This is a great time of year to feel energized and the weather is great for running outdoors! I did my first run of the year on Saturday but hope I can keep up the motivation!
Deborah Brooks says
I so much prefer running in the cooler temps myself! Hope you get out there this week too

So happy to see that you are living the Peloton bike! I don’t get to do too many I’ve classes but hoping I can do one for my 50th ride (just 5 more to go)!
Deborah Brooks says

Becca | Rabbit Food Runner says
Normally I can set goals at any point in the year and don’t really need NYE to do so, but this year I am feeling a lot more energized and excited about the new start. Great week and happy new year!
Deborah Brooks says
Happy New year to you!
Wendy says
I’m actually really impressed that you can touch your toes in seated forward fold! On a good day, I can get below my knees…

Some days it is easier than others!! 🙂

Those champagne tights are awesome, as are your Saturday ones
Vacation is great, but there’s just something about a home routine.
Deborah Brooks says
I agree it’s always great to come home!
Jessie says
What a wonderful week! It sounds like perfect running temps…and I love your NYE tights! I am going to try that stability workout as well, thanks for sharing!

I am loving the Peloton! Now I have to wait another year to wear the leggings again 🙂
Lesley says
Happy new year! I love those leggings. I usually go for fun socks, and I had festive socks at one point. I need to get more.
Deborah Brooks says
Socks are always fun too! Happy new year to you as well
Jennifer @ Fit Nana says
OMG. Where the heck did you find those leggings?! I think I need a pair!
I am definitely looking forward to those recipes. I’ve been doing a couple more meatless meals a week (I’m totally hooked on Mediterranean ratatouille! *drool*) and I love new ideas!
Deborah Brooks says
The leggings are from GoldSheep-total impulse buy but I loved wearing them so much. Glad to hear you are doing more meatless meals
Marcia says
Those leggings are super festive and cute! Cheers to a great start to the year!
Deborah Brooks says
Thanks! Right back at you 🙂
Renée says
WOW what a sporty week Deborah! and I LOVE those champagne bottle leggings!!
I’m kind of jealous about the peloton bike and classes. They aren’t available here. Dani (from weightoffmyshoulders) brought hers over from Boston when she moved to Amsterdam so she’s still riding! I should start saving for when they do enter our market!!
I’m definitely feeling positive and energized! Bring it on 2019!

What a great week to start off the New Year! Your variety of weekly workouts is always very impressive. The Peloton was certainly a hot Christmas item (at least according to the ads). Those leggings! I think everybody now wants a pair of those. Thanks for linking!
