Wow, your comment are is all crazy on my iPad. Forgive me if I make a typo because I can’t see what I’m writing through a sea of Facebook logos.

Anyway, this soup sounds so delicious! I appreciate chilled and/or no cooking required meals. It gets so hot where I love it’s nice not to heat the house up ant further.

    • Deborah Brooks says

The spicy V8 is my secret weapon

  3. Wendy@Taking the Long Way Home says

    06/08/2015 at 6:04 am

That looks tasty! One question–did you find it too salty, using the V8 juice?

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 6:42 am

No not at all. I didn’t add any additional salt though I am really sensitive to salt

  4. Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious says

    06/08/2015 at 6:06 am

This sounds so refreshing! Could you replace the V-8 with regular tomato juice?

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 6:43 am

Yes you totally can. I just like the flavor of it

  5. Susie @ SuzLyfe says

I’m the weirdest person. I love salsa, I love tomato soup…. I do not like gazpacho. At. all. It is so annoying because I always think that I might!…and then no. But I love the recipe creativity all the same!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 6:43 am

Funny as I was eating it I felt like I was eating a bowl of salsa

This looks so refreshing! I am on a huge veggie kick right now and enjoying zucchini from our garden almost every night!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 11:58 am

I love zucchini grilled and in salads yummy!

  18. Sarah says

    06/08/2015 at 12:39 pm

Oh this sounds so good! I’m wondering if my girls would go for it. There are some of the vegetables they love and some they aren’t huge fans of but blending them up they would never know. They haven’t been soup fans this year, so that was interesting, maybe I can spark the excitement with this cold soup! Oh or they might even go for it when we pull the veggies and herbs from our garden!
    Thank you for hosting!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 3:06 pm

Hiding veggies by pureeing them works for me! Good luck

Thanks! You can totally leave out the jalapeno and it would still be yummy!

  29. Jenn says

    06/08/2015 at 6:47 pm

That does look good! I am kind of funny about tomatoes. I like a good pico de gallo, but there is something texturally that throws me. That being said, I have never had gazpacho. I should probably try it before I say I don’t like it.

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 7:32 pm

It kind of is pico de gallo 🙂

  30. Carmy says

    06/08/2015 at 8:57 pm

I actually don’t like the taste of V8 on it’s own. Maybe that’ll be different in a dish!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      06/08/2015 at 9:40 pm

I don’t like it on its own either but it’s great as a base
