If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
I have rectified the broken coffee maker crisis from last month. I ended up buying another one on amazon so I could have it right it away. Of course, 3 weeks later the replacement arrived from Cuisinart. I think I will use it as a giveaway during the holidays. I just realized the Holiday Season will be here before we know it. Crazy huh?
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
I am optimistic that my hip is on it’s way to healing. I have had a couple of pain free short runs. I am going to take it really slow with short run/walk intervals for a while. I figure no reason to rush it since all of my races are canceled. Hopefully, by the time the amazing fall weather rolls in, I will on my way to happy miles.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
I am more than halfway through my 15 day yoga for hips challenge. It’s 15 min a day which is just right for me. I am really enjoying it and will fill you in on my thoughts when I complete it. My hips need all the love they can get these days!
Your turn! If we were having coffee today, what would you tell me? Can you believe it’s labor day already? where did the summer go?
Glad you are running pain free! Hopefully you’ll enjoy your fall running.
Mr. Judy was just telling me about the appliance shortage. Glad you’re still able to get caffeinated. 😊
Staying caffeinated is ver important!
Fingers crossed for continued pain free running! Sounds like the prolotherapy was the right treatment.
Thanks for coffee!
Thanks I hope so raking it nice and slow so I can enjoy fall running
Yay for no hip pain! I think you’re smart to take it slow right now so you can enjoy some fall running once Mother Nature starts to cooperate.
Thanks for coffee – Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks that’s the plan!
I would thank you for getting me to sign up for that yoga! It’s been a great addition. So glad your hip is doing welll. You’re right, there is no reason to rush your recovery now!
I agree…where did summer go??? Our ride was chilly and dark (at the start) this morning. I want my summer back ;-( I’m glad to hear your running is feeling good!!
It is still pretty summerlike in DC through September. Enjoy your cooler mornings 🙂
It always happens that when you buy a replacement for something then the one from the company comes in. At least you get your coffee!
If we were having coffee I would tell you that there’s some big and exciting changes coming up that are also stressful. I’m optimistic that good things are coming soon to everyone 🙂
Looking forward to hearing about your good stuff coming up!
I think very soon we’re going to be asking where the entire year went. And maybe we’ll be very happy to say goodbye to 2020. Glad to hear your hip is feeling good! I’m sure that yoga every day helps!
I agree we may all be ready to say goodbye to the whole 2020. The yoga is helping now have to keep it up
Hooray for pain free miles! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the yoga program. My hips could use some TLC these days as well!
I am really enjoying the daily hips yoga. I am on day 10 and can see an improvement already
I’ve been having hip issues as well. I decided to take this entire week off from running and I can finally walk without “noticing” my hip. (It was never pain, just a nagging discomfort when I’d walk or run.) Fingers crossed I’ve nipped it because in theory I’m running the MCM 50k virtually next month.
I’m so ready for the fall weather…
Definitely ready for the fall weather. My yoga for hips daily has really made a difference. I can be so bad at stretching
That’s great news that you’re running pain free! Here’s to staying healthy for us both!
Thanks for the linkup and have a great weekend!
yes let’s hope we can both stay that way
It’s crazy that I’m getting gift guide solicitations. But yes, the 2020 version of holidays will be here before we know it! Glad to hear your hip pain is healing. Great time to ramp up slowly!
I know the holidays are quickly approaching!
Ooooh…that 15 minute per day yoga for hips challenge sounds awesome. I should look that up. Glad that you feel as though you are on the mend.
the yoga has been great for me and 15 min is just all I need
It’s crazy to think about how soon the holidays will be here. So glad your hip is doing well! Perfect timing for fall running.
I hope so fall running is the best!
I’m glad your hip is healing and that’s awesome that you’re doing a yoga challenge for it! I keep saying I’m gonna get into trying to do yoga every day but still failing at life at that…
It is hard to commit to yoga but it is helping!
Yay to pain-free. If we were having coffee I would be asking you why I signed up for a 26.2 miles in a week thing (OK for charity, that’s why) and if it’s OK to not do that distance next week, as I won’t then claim the medal but the charity has still got the money … Of maybe I will magically do the distance …
It’s definitely okay! We are in crazy times
It’s definitely ok! Crazy times
No pain no gain its good to hear pain free! I started to take off break from running for some days! Due to my seveare back pain. I normally push my self when I’ve hip pain like slow and steady win the race formula which really works for me.
I have learned the hard way that running through pain is not a good idea for me!
Very Informative and likable, Blog Deborah” I really like it 😉 Thank you so much for sharing this kind of post!
