Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down today. After coming off such a fun weekend with so many of my favorite run bloggers, this week had me back to my schedule for a few days. Then, it was time for our much anticipated spring break trip. I am sailing into this week!
Sailing in to Spring Break
Monday- power walk + core + lower body strength + yoga conditioning
Back to my usual Monday strength routine. I’ve started doing some power walks as warm ups. Today, I tried one of the new yoga conditioning classes for upper body and really enjoyed it. It is much more challenging that a light weights with arms class (in my opinion). I look forward to trying some of the others.
Tuesday- 3 mile walk and stretch
Today was my echo stress test (finally!) I am happy to report that it was totally normal and that I am allowed to return to my normal running routine. It was a long and stressful few weeks and I am so relieved! Thank you all again for all your messages the last few weeks.
Wednesday 3 mile run + stretch
So happy to be back out there and not feeling worried about running. We had temps in the 80’s today coupled with getting used to my new meds was challenging. I am just grateful to be out there.
We celebrated Passover dinner at my sister’s house. Happy Passover to my friends that celebrate!
Thursday- Travel to St Thomas
We had an 8 am flight to St Thomas so we were up and out early! We are staying at a beautiful resort for 2 days before we embark on our cruise with some friends. I am so looking forward to relaxing!
Friday- barre + core + lower body strength
I try my best to keep up my fitness schedule while traveling. Of course, I cannot let that Peloton streak lapse. We spent the rest of the day lounging around by the pool reading. I’ve already finished my first book!
Saturday- core + barre + upper body strength and tread walk
I got in a solid hotel gym workout today before we headed over to board our cruise. We will be sailing around the British and US Virgin Islands for the next week. Really hoping I can relax a bit more! These last few weeks have been super stressful.
Happy Easter and Passover to all! Enjoy your day.
You’ve been quite a trooper the past few weeks!! I’m so glad you’ve been cleared to resume your running; such fabulous news 🙂 Enjoy your time away!
I am not sure about that but thank you. I am very glad the results were normal

So happy that everything turned out fine with your tests.
Now you can totally enjoy your vacation.

This trip could not have been timed more perfectly! Enjoy and relax!
yes agreed thanks!
I”m so happy to hear that your stress test went well and you’ve been released to normal activities. Enjoy your vacation!
Thanks so much Deb
Have a wonderful trip Deborah! It sounds like it came at the perfect time. I’m so happy the stress echo came out great. I went through a potential heart issue awhile back that caused me to have a stress echo as well. Mine was due to an irregular EKG. Glad all is well!
I am very relieved that the tests came back normal. I do still have some issues that will need monitoring but being allowed to run is good
Oh, you will absolutely relax and all that gorgeousness! I’ve only been to the US Virgin Islands — that was on our honeymoon (on a cruise) — so obviously a really long time ago.
Very happy that you got the all clear for running!
Me too thanks and looking forward to a week of relaxing
Yay! This is very good news! You deserve a cruise after all that. I hope you have an amazing time.
Thanks that is my plan!
I’m so glad you full test came back normal!
I hope you leave your worries behind when you board for your cruise — sounds like you will have an amazing time.
I am sure trying thnaks!
Oh wow – sounds like an amazing trip!! Can’t wait to see the pics on IG. What a relief your test came back OK. I’m very happy you can get back at what you love doing!
Yes I am relieved that my test came back normal. I still will have some issues to deal with but a good outcome. Trip is amazing so far
So glad you’re OK and can run without worrying. Enjoy your cruise and, of course, reading!
Thanks so much Liz!
Enjoy your relaxation! I haven’t ever done a cruise except the one to Antarctica. As long as they have a gym, you should be all set to keep up that Peloton streak.
Happy Passover!
Peloton streak going strong! Cruise is very relaxing and at a perfect time
I am so glad you had a wonderful weekend with friends, a great Passover, and now you’re off on adventure! Have the best time!
Thanks so much Jenn
So glad that you are currently getting some well deserved rest and relaxation on your cruise. Can’tt wait to see all of your photos!
It came at a great time for sure!
