Let’s keep it real. We all have those crazy, hectic running around days when we just don’t have time to buy and prepare homemade meals. Enter frozen meals. I am going to show you how create Next Level Dinner Hacks For Frozen Meals. Read on for my tips!
Next Level Dinner Hacks For Frozen Meals
Each of these frozen meals were paired with items that I already had in the pantry and refrigerator. It was fun to see how I could put them together and I almost felt like I was a contestant on one of those cooking shows that has you racing to the pantry for ideas. Let’s see how I did!
First up: Healthy Choice Mango Edamame Power Bowl
This vegetarian, plant based, power bowl is filled with edamame, mango and veggies. I enjoyed the blend of brown and red rice, red quinoa and black barley. The dried cherries gave a nice sweetness that paired well with the Swiss chard, kale and spinach. I really appreciated the wide variety and textures of the vegetables and grains.
The numbers: 370 calories, 10 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber, 14 grams of fat, 0 Cholesterol and 430 grams of Sodium
My next lever dinner hack:
I nestled the Healthy Choice Mango Edamame power bowl on a bed of shredded Cole slaw mix which provided a nice mix of textures. I paired my meal with a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. Adult beverage choice: cold glass of Rosé.
Second meal: Evol Cilantro Lime Chicken Burrito
Since I am a vegetarian, I enlisted the help of my family to taste test this one for me. Filled with organic tomatoes, brown rice, black beans, chicken, corn and cheddar cheese. The bold flavors and texture make this Evol Cilantro Lime Chicken Burrito a crowd pleaser. Low sugar, low sodium and nothing artificial are added bonuses.
The numbers: 320 calories, 14 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, 8 grams of fat, 25 mg of Cholesterol and 310 mg of sodium
My next level dinner hack:
I paired the Evol Cilantro Lime Chicken Burrito with a side salad of avocado and tomato with a squirt of lime juice. Topped the burrito with a little salsa and tortilla chips. Adult beverage pairing: ice cold beer.
Third meal: Birds Eye Chicken Alfredo Bowl
Again, my family was the taste tester for this unique Birds Eye Chicken Alfredo Bowl. The pasta is made from 100% vegetables using lentil flour and zucchini providing wider appeal to different types of diets. My testers appreciated the veggie pasta’s firm texture while the chicken was tender and moist. Broccoli, corn and peas make a nice addition to this comfort food bowl.
The numbers: 350 calories, 26 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, 13 grams of fat, 70mg of Cholesterol and 820 mg of sodium.
My Nest level dinner hack:
I paired this Birds Eye Chicken Alfredo Bowl with a side of freshly sliced peaches and a slice of garlic bread. Adult beverage pairing: a glass of Chianti.
Hope you found these Next Level Dinner hacks useful for next time you pull out a Healthy Choice, Evol or Birds Eye meal from your freezer. You can find these frozen meals at your grocer or order them here. Have any other meal time hacks for me?

Great job of dressing up frozen dinners! We don’t usually eat a lot of freezer meals, but I will always “fix up” prepared things like jarred sauce or other already prepared food items to give a little pizzazz.
