You work hard everyday and that deserves some acknowledging and perhaps celebrating even. While big rewards like birthday gifts are always special, why wait for a formal occasion to give yourself a little self love and positive reinforcement. I’ve mentioned that I set mini goals for the day and the week and how those keep me on track. After all, It’s the little things isn’t it? Offering up a few everyday ways to reward yourself. This post is sponsored by Sweat Pink. All opinions and ideas are my own.
It’s the Little Things…Everyday ways to reward yourself
By setting mini goals each week, you are setting yourself up for success with manageable tasks. Rewarding yourself with in small ways gives you positive reinforcement to encourage you to keep at. Here are some ideas on Everyday Ways to Reward Yourself.
Hot baths or long showers
One of my favorite ways to reward myself is savoring an extra few minutes in the shower or a nice long epsom salt soak. My muscles always thank me.
Treat yourself to your favorite food
I am a big believer that no food is off limits totally. If you really crave that piece of chocolate, go ahead and have a small amount. I love to reward myself by taking the time to cook up a nice healthy, homemade meal.
Give those feet some attention
Runner feet sure do take a beating don’t they? Reward yourself with a pedicure and thank your feet for all the miles they have carried you through.
Toast yourself
While maybe not “Rosé all day” an occasional glass of wine or champagne is a nice way to treat yourself.
Retail therapy
I am all about the occasional shopping reward. After all, you have to look cute during all these runs and workouts. My friends over at Fit and Flirty have a ton of new super fun workout tops out this week. Why not treat yourself to a cute one? Fit and Flirty is a new female owned company looking to make new friends. Check out all their creative designs. Get 15% off any order with code SWEATPINK15 or buy any 2 shirts and get 50% off of the 2nd one. They are crazy cute and fit true to size. I am certainly embracing mine.
After all, it really is the little things. Tell me, how to do you find everyday ways to reward yourself?

I love that workout tank – it’s so cute! Treating our runners feet is the best. I’m supposed to get a pedicure with friends in a few weeks and my feet can’t wait haha.
One reward that I do for myself every day is reading. I find it so relaxing so I try to fit something in, even if it’s just a few pages.

Yes finding what works for you to relax is key! Enjoy that pedi 🙂

Cute top! I’ll have to check them out. Boy, I really need a pedicure! And a massage sounds pretty good too (my favorite way to treat myself)!
Deborah Brooks says
Sounds like it’s definitely time to treat yourself to something 🙂
Farrah says
hehe, the little things I do generally have to do with skin care, eating, working out, or Netflix-ing! *-* I wouldn’t mind a massage one of these days though!
Deborah Brooks says
The great thing about the little things is that we all have our own little things that make us happy 🙂

My favorite post-long run treat is stopping by a local bakery for a baked treat and some coffee. Of course the treat is delicious, but the coffee is necessary!
Deborah Brooks says
I totally agree! Enjoy your next one

Love the tank!
Honestly, going for a run is my reward/time to myself. When ever I have free time it’s usually spent running, cycling or something else active. Lately I’ve been trying to read more.

Exercising has always been a gift I give to myself. When the kids were younger it felt even more so!

I love this Deborah! We should totally celebrate every day – life is too short not to.

Oooh, yes! I love all of your reward suggestions, but I especially love the hot shower/long bath. There is nothing better after a long run!
When I do long runs in the winter, my hubby often surprises me with a nice, hot vanilla latte after I get home. Another favorite reward!
Deborah Brooks says
Well that would be a nice treat! I will have to mention that my husband 🙂

These are great ways to treat yourself! As a workaholic I reward myself bu just vegging out with some Netflix (provided I am done with the days tasks) Its the best feeling to sit down, shut off my mind FINALLY and not think of anything but enjoying a good show. There is always a good snack involved as well.
Deborah Brooks says
Netflix and snacks sounds pretty good to me!

I’m all about all of these, especially a nice relaxing pedi after a hard run. Thankfully my nail lady doesn’t mind my gross runner feet lol.
Deborah Brooks says
I know I am always apologizing for my feet!

My feet are definitely in sad need of attention! Retail therapy is definitely one of my favorite ways, but at the moment we’re tightening our belts a bit.
I agree no food is off limits, but rewarding myself with food isn’t the best thing for me — not that I don’t do that, too!
I’m better at big goals & not so much at daily & weekly ones.
Deborah Brooks says
I like to give myself little rewards even if it is just a nice hot bath. We deserve it!

I love your rewards! I like to reward myself with a pedicure ( I need one badly!) and also with new socks to fuel my obsession. I do like to take care of my feet.

Great post. I agree that we need to treat ourselves every once in a while. My way of treating is staying off devices and reading a good book.
Deborah Brooks says
I could definitely be a little better at that myself
