Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. It’s definitely feels very February around here. Here’s a peek into my week of fitness.

February Feels Weekly Run Down

Sunday-Power walk + core

Well, it sure was feeling like February this morning. It was dark and back to being cold but I needed some fresh air. I bundled up for a nice, hilly power walk with my weighted vest followed by a Peloton core class.

Monday-core + full body strength + power walk

I was ready for my Monday morning high intensity strength workout. I decided to take advantage of Peloton’s AI inspired schedule personalized to me this week. Basically, you input how many days of strength + cardio etc and Peloton designs a weekly program for you with class options for each workout. Today’s full body strength was great and not one I would have probably chosen on my own.

Tuesday-core + power walk

I was upset about something last night and ended up tossing and turning all night so I did not getting up for my run. Alas, I got in a core class and a power walk with my weighted vest on a really nice day.

Wednesday-Core+ lower and upper body strength + barre

I woke up today with lots of energy and ready to take on my workouts. Having a great night’s sleep and a strong workout make me productive all day.

Thursday-Peloton hike + full body strength + core + yoga hips

We woke up to an icy rain so no outdoor run. I easily pivoted to what would have been my Friday workout. Later, I went to check out a new infrared sauna place which was fabulous.

Friday-3.25 m run/walk + core

weekly run down

It was a nice winter day for a run with the sun out and temps around 40. Later, met a few friends for tea at a new place with some fun gourmet treats.

Saturday-core + tread hike + upper body strength

I had an amazing 9.5 hour sleep! This lead to me being very productive all day. It was a dreary February Feels kind of day with more snow on the way.

I hope that whatever was bothering you on Monday night is sorted out and you’re feeling better now. Having tea with friends sounds like a nice way to end the week.

I think you’ve had more snow than us this winter! It’s just been so cold and windy here. A sauna sounds amazing!

That Peloton AI workout tool sounds great! AI has been exploding in every aspect of our lives, it seems.

An infrared sauna sounds amazing. I’m trying to hang on to my vacation vibe but it’s waning by the minute.

Wow that sauna/snow shower sounds amazing! Overall it sounds like a nice week- that 9.5 hours of sleep must have been rejuvenating.

I did not fall asleep this time but I totally could. Yes, I am doing better thanks

I might take my weighted vest out for a spin soon, since I only do quite short walks now while the weather is so cold. I think of you every time I see it!
It is very good to get out and get some fresh air, even when it’s cold. As long as there isn’t ice. Couldn’t agree more about the energy after a good night’s sleep and a good workout!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      02/09/2025 at 4:42 pm

It does feel good to outside even if it is cold! I know you will love the vest too

Yes, coffee and a good workout are the best thing in the morning 🙂 and of course a good night’s sleep beforehand doesn’t hurt!

Glad you were able to get some sleep at the back half of the week. I’m sure the sauna helped.
There’s something magic in dry winter air, but this sleet is just ick. Hugs

    • Deborah Brooks says

      02/10/2025 at 4:37 pm

      No one likes sleet!

  12. Jenn says

I hope you are feeling more positive.

It’s funny… the more I sleep, the less rested I feel. I hate that.
