Bob & Brad Air 2 Mini VS Theragun Mini Review And Comparison

Regular readers know how much I love my recovery tools and use them often. When I was offered the chance to try out the new Bob and Brad Air 2 Mini and compare it to my much loved Theragun Mini, I was all in. I put it to the test on my achy muscles and here are my thoughts. This post is sponsored by Bob and Brad however, all opinions are truly my own.

Bob & Brad Air 2 Mini Vs Theragun Mini

I’ve been a huge fan of my Theragun mini for years so I was interested in comparing the 2 massage guns. The B & B Air 2 Mini is designed to be a lesser expensive alternative-let’s see how it stacks up.

What’s in the box?

The Theragun Mini arrives in a zippered case with one standard attachment. Other attachments are available for purchase and are interchangeable with the standard Theragun.

Theragun vs Bob and Brad Air 2 mini

Bob and Brad Air 2 Mini arrives in a zippered case with 5 interchangeable attachments. While I was happy with just a standard attachment, it is nice to have options for different body parts and needs.

Size and weight

Both the Theragun Mini and the Bob And Brad Air 2 Mini are ergonomically designed to fit nicely and comfortably in your hand. The Theragun weighs approx 1.5 pounds and the B & B Air 2 MIni weighs in slightly less at about 1.25 pounds.(with one attachment on).

Power and battery life

Both massage guns are quickly rechargeable. The Theragun has a battery life of approximately 1-2.5 hours while the Bob & Brad Air 2 Mini lasts about 2-4 hours before needing a charge. Both massage guns have 3 different power modes and see pretty equivalent to me as I tested them both out simultaneously.

Price

This is where the biggest difference is. The Theragun Mini is about twice the price of the Bob and Brad Air 2 mini. And as mentioned above, the Bob and Brad Air 2 mini comes with 5 attachments included. Right now ther is an extra 10% off code you can take advantage of (BBAIR2YT) at checkout.

Overall thoughts

Bob and Brad Air 2 mini vs Theragun

I have been using the Theragun Mini for years. As I am testing out the new Bob and Brad Air 2 Mini, I would say they are very comparable in feel and practical usage. When I used them simultaneously I could not tell the difference. If you are looking at purchasing a massage gun or adding one to your holiday gift list, you can not go wrong with Bob and Brad. The more economical price, longer battery life and extra attachments make this new massage gun a very attractive option. This post contains affiliate links.

Looks like the Bob and Brad Mini wins!
This is a solid review and coming from someone who has used the Theragun Mini for so long, your opinion is very trustworthy. Thanks, Deborah!

I am currently testing this out for a review too:) I am really liking it so far and it seems so similar to the theragun mini, but lighter! Its nice to have something easy to use for sore muscles.

I used the theragun after my race and then my own cheaper version at home… the same. Cheaper wins.

I am also trying out the Bob & Brad mini and I agree with everything that you say. I also love my Theragun Mini. I’m fortunate that I have a regular Theragun so I have access to the other massage heads but I feel like that having only one head is a drawback for the Theragun. I also think that the Bob & Brad mini is quieter. That’s a plus for me since I use it with some of my training and stretching clients.

yes, I think it’s a great product very high quality
