Putting Bondi Bands through the Multi-sport test

Through my affiliation with #SweatPink and Fit Approach, I was offered the opportunity to try out a few Bondi Bands and also raffle off 3 of them to you all. Read on to enter the raffle below for 3 of their most popular bands. They have been crowd pleasers within my MRTT group for a while now. “Confession”… I was never really a headband person because I think I look goofy, so I had never worn them before.

Bondi Bands are a combination of lycra, nylon and spandex. To fully review them, I tested Bondi Bands while biking, running, cross training and during Hot yoga. Here’s what I found:

1st up biking with the Bondi Band
1st up biking with the Bondi Band

First up-Biking. I never thought of wearing any type of head band underneath my helmet before. The Bondi Band fit right under without having to adjust my helmet at all. I never felt it move or rub in any way during my ride. The band stayed in place and did absolutely keep the sweat from dripping onto my forehead. I wish I had thought of this sooner and I will certainly wear it while biking again.

Hot yoga

Hot Yoga– Other headbands seem to  slide off of my head a lot during yoga and I usually end up ditching them halfway through. The Bondi Band however, stayed on throughout the entire class of hot yoga and weights. It’s pretty hot in there-around 98 degrees-and I sweat a ton! The Bondi Band was a winner that day too!

Running – the moms in my running group have been big fans of our customized Bondi Bands for a while now. They can be customized for any group or with any saying. It was a pretty hot and humid day when I tested this out and I really enjoyed having it on. The sweat stayed out of my eyes and the band did not fall off or slide up as some bands do.

ooh not the best picture!
ooh not the best picture!

Next up: Elliptical test- I was in an air conditioned room so didn’t sweat as much during this workout. The Bondi Band stayed on throughout and did not slide around or bother me at all.

Wear and Care: With all of that sweat, I wanted to test out how the Bondi Bands held up to a wash. I placed them in a lingerie bag and threw them in the wash in cold water. They did not fade or stretch out in any way.

Final Analysis– Bond Bands passed my multi sport  test. They stayed in place during all of my activities and washed well. They have  a large selection of colors and styles to choose from as well as the ability to customize for a race or group. Bondi Band also makes compression socks, arm sleeves, hats and neck gaiters and more so check out their site.

I’m raffling off the 3 Bondi Bands here so please enter to win below. Winners will be announced on June 7th
