Oh what a wonderful list, Deborah!
I haven’t run a Ragnar race yet! It’s not a thing (yet) in Europe and I missed an opportunity when I was in the US.
I need to put that on my bucket list. 😄
Deborah Brooks says
Relay races are are so much fun and give a whole other perspective to running and team work. Hope you have the opportunity to try it sometime
Lisa @ Mile by Mile says
This is a great list of ideas! I’ve done alot of these, but I’ve never run over a big bridge or done a ragnar/relay.
Deborah Brooks says
Running over an iconic bridge is really fun and well you must do a relay race one day!
Wendy says
Great list and I have a few things I could add!
Deborah Brooks says
What would you add to your list?
Kimberly Hatting says
This is awesome!! I think I’ve done all of them but run in a foreign country…and that won’t be happening any time soon LOL I still think a blogger Ragnar needs to happen when all the Covid crap is over and done.
Deborah Brooks says
Yes that would be great if we could pull off a Ragnar race with a bunch of us!
Darlene S Cardillo says
What a great list and I was surprised that I have done most of these except a Ragnar (but could and didn’t want to)
Love your pics – such great memories.
Deborah Brooks says
Definitely great memories!
Jenny says
This list is like a love letter to running! So many different ways to enjoy and experience it. i’ve actually done almost all of these (i’ve been running for a looooong time) but not a Ragnar relay. We’ll see about that one! They do sound fun.
Deborah Brooks says
Thanks and yes a love letter to running indeed. Hope you have the chance to do some kind of relay at some point they are tons of fun
Natalie says
Your running adventures are truly amazing and quite inspiring. I need to add some of your suggestions to my bucket list. 🙂
Deborah Brooks says
Thanks so much and great I hope you enjoy making your bucket list too
Debbie @ Deb Runs says
I’ve done 20 of the 22 you list – I haven’t run across a famous bridge or run in another country. I also think every runner should run technical trails at least once. You don’t know what you’re missing until you try it!
Deborah Brooks says
Technical trails terrify me so yes I agree 🙂 Famous bridges are so much fun to run over!
Mimi says
Running at night sounds fun! I definitely need to do it!
Deborah Brooks says
It is a different experience for sure
Chocolaterunsjudy says
I think running over a famous bridge is the only thing I’ve missed (and I’ve always wanted to). I’ve only run one relay, and that was just 2 runners & half marathon distance.
Oh, and I don’t drink. So never toasted with alcohol post race. But otherwise . . .
Cool list, Deborah!
Deborah Brooks says
Thanks Judy! The bridges thing is very cool to do. I can’t wait to add a few more of those to my list
Marta says
Sometimes I wish I were a runner, but then my knees remind me that walking is my ministry.
Deborah Brooks says
Hey walking is also a fantastic exercise and many of these items can also apply to walking goals
Nicole from Fitful Focus says
This is a great list! I absolutely love running in other countries. It’s the best way to explore!
Deborah Brooks says
It sure is and I cannot wait to do it again
Zenaida Arroyo says
This is a great list! I’ve done 19 of the things on your list. Need to work on the other 3. 🙂
Thanks for linking up with us!
Deborah Brooks says
Great hope you get to soon

Great list! Scooby says you need to add run with your dog.
Deborah Brooks says
Yes good point thanks Scooby!
Sarah says
This was such a fun post to read! I have done most of these (yay!). WOuld love to run at sunrise more often, if I can become a morning runner!
Deborah Brooks says
I hear ya! I am so not a morning sunrise runner either but maybe someday
Julie says

Deborah Brooks says
Oh yes it is!
Tisha says

Deborah Brooks says
Thanks so much 🙂
Liz Dexter says
I’ve done lots of these but I would never run a relay as I hate letting people down! Great list though!
Deborah Brooks says
That is the beauty of a relay race you work as a team to accomplish your group goals. There is no letting everyone down. It’s the experience that is so great.
Debbie says
Oh my gosh, I’ve done them all! I guess I can stop running now lol. Fun list.
Deborah Brooks says
ha ha guess so 🙂
Shathiso says
I’m pleased to say I’ve done most of them!! Haven’t run in the snow and surprisingly haven’t lose a toe nail although I thought I would a few times!
Deborah Brooks says
The toe nail is the worst! 🙂 That and chafing
Laura says
What a fun list! I have done many of these but would like to add more foreign countries to my list.
Deborah Brooks says
It is the best way to see a city while traveling!
