2021 Holiday Gift Guide For Runners
Sharing a few of my top picks for runners. Check them out below.
Recovery items
Recovery is a huge part of a runner’s training plan. Here are a few ideas to help keep your favorite runner healthy.
Theragun Mini– An everyday go to for me. Love the small size of this great recovery tool.
Uncle Bud’s CBD Balm– Soothe your aching muscles post run or workout with this CBD-infused cream containing 120 mg of CBD oil.A new favorite for me. See my review here. Use code IG20 for 20% off sitewide.
KT Tape ice heat wrap system I love the option to use both heat or ice with the same pack. Easy to heat in the microwave for instant relief. Keep the ice pack in the freezer so it’s always ready. A great gift for any runner. Nice for lower back or glutes/hamstring relief.
Rollga Foam Roller The unique design of this foam roller was a winner from the first roll for me. Great for getting into spots you can’t target with a traditional roller.
For Runners Who Like To Cook
Rise & Run Cookbook The newest release by Shalane Flanagan & Elyse Kopecky has a focus on breakfast foods (my favorite meal of the day). Check out the new variations on the super hero muffins everyone is raging about.
silicone Muffin pan The muffin pan you need to bake up a batch of your favorite muffins from the cookbook.
Winter Run Gear
Ranier tights are Athleta’s version of the perfect base layer bottom year after year top pick. With their soft fleece lining and great fit, they are a must-have for any runner in colder weather. Love the new patterned option for this year.
Down For It All Lululemon jacket will help your favorite runner brave the elements. Removable hood, water repellant, zippered pockets, and thumbholes. Love the super flattering slim fit.
Brooks Fusion mid-weight Running Gloves
A great mid weight versatile glove for your fall and early winter gloves. Tech compatible.
Run For It All Neckwarmer– a great gift for your running bestie. Pulls up over your chin and nose with a drawstring. My run crew loved these last year. We appreciated the soft fleece on our faces
.
Post Run Comfort
Vionic Slippers These were gifted to me last year and I adore them. Super comfy for pst-run recovery. One of Oprah’s favorite things picks.
Vuori Joggers These stretchy, comfy joggers have become favorites for post run lounging and stretching.
Stocking Stuffers
Skintegra Rapid Crack Repair Foot Cream This cream is the moisture your runner’s feet are looking for. Perfect for winter.
Tempo Scrunchies I discovered these fantastic scrunchies at the Wine Glass Marathon expo and immediately loved them. They are strong enough to hold hair for a run while coated in a soft fabric like a traditional scrunchie. Fashionable and cute. Support a small biz and grab a few. Sizing note: I am wearing a mini for running.

I really like that Lululemon jacket! You’re right, the slim fit looks great.
It would also make a great jacket for hiking or walking. The removable hood is practical!
Deborah Brooks says
It is one of my favorite jackets I have it in black. I highly recommend

Great ideas! I’ve been hearing good things about the new cookbook. And Im debating asking for a theragun mini. i have a less expensive full size massage gun but I think it would be way more convenient to have a small one (and theragun is probably better anyway)
Deborah Brooks says
I ditched my bigger sized gun and I use the theragun mini all the time I love it
Black Knight says

Great ideas. Can I give this list to my hubby?
Only kidding. My gift was a new kitchen. So only the cookbook and the muffin pans.
Deborah Brooks says
well, you can make the muffins in your new kitchen! Does that mean you have started cooking?

Oooh, that foot repair cream has my name on it. My dry skin really takes a beating in cold weather, especially my runner’s feet!!

That is quite the guide! I think you’ve covered pretty much everything, Deborah. I almost bought that lulu gaiter last year but never got around to it. And I love the rainier tights — although I wear them around the house, not for running.
Deborah Brooks says
I got the gaitor last winter for myself and for a couple of friends. We all love it I highly recommend it
Kim G says
I had no clue about the KT heat wrap system – I may just buy that for myself, lol.
Deborah Brooks says
I got it about 6 weeks ago and I love it. I mostly use the heated part and it’s so easy to microwave and strap on. Better than a heating pad bc you can walk around.
Coco says
Great ideas! I’m going to check out those Athleta tights and put them on my wish list.
Deborah Brooks says
they are great I have a few pairs!
Jenn says
Fantastic stuff! I honestly think runners are the easiest people to buy things for.
Deborah Brooks says
they can be for sure!
Cari says
So glad I bought the Rollga when you posted about it in the past.
Those gloves look great.
Who knew scrunchies would be back? The 90s child in me loves that.
Have the Bed Buddy version of the hot/cold wrap and it’s so good. Love it for space saving reasons too
Deborah Brooks says
The scrunchies are amazing and I love my Rollga too!
Laura says
