I love to do the “My Year In Running” post every December! I kind of forget about all of the races run, people met and good times had. I did far less racing this racing this year overall however, I have some great memories to look back on. Here’s a few of my highlights from 2017.
My Year In Running 2017
1 Indoor Tri
Fun and low key way to start off the New Year. All signed up to do it again in a few weeks.
4 10K races
3 Sprint Triathlons
3 5K races
1 Cancelled Ragnar Napa Valley Race
Although our race was unfortunately cancelled due to the California fires, I was determined to run over that Golden Gate Bridge. It was epic really and I can’t wait to go back next November to do the Ragnar with my team mates.
1 Unofficial Beer Run
We had so much fun with this one that it will be making a comeback next summer for sure.
3 Welcome Runs
Every quarter we do a welcome run followed by breakfast to encourage new members to join us. Plus there’s breakfast 🙂
3 Swim + Runs
In the thick of the summer humidity our Swim + Runs became a quite popular way to beat the heat.
5 Vacation Runs
I was lucky enough to run in Philly, Georgia, Indiana, Nantucket and San Francisco. Here’s 2 of my favorite photos.
Countless runs with my Moms Run This Town group.
Tough Runs
Easy Runs
Rainy Runs
Insanely Hot & Humid Runs
Ridiculously Cold Runs
Coffee Runs
Welcome Runs
Beer Runs
5K’s, 10K’s, Triathlons
Bike Run Bricks

I consider myself so lucky to have such an amazing run crew
Quite the variety in events! I’d love to do an indoor tri some day – the comfort of being in a pool vs lake is way more appealing!

This list is honestly inspiring! You fit SO much into one year! Ben and I always say we want to do more races because we LOVE them, but we only sign up for a few each year. I’d love to get us into a sprint tri this coming year!
