Where will your water take you this summer #SparklingDetox

This post is sponsored by Fit Approach on behalf of Gerolsteiner. All opinions are my own.

So far my summer has been all about getting out and enjoying “all the things.” From running, to swimming to biking I am trying to be outside as much as possible enjoying all the activities I love. With this crazy humidity, it can be challenging to stay fueled and properly hydrated. I was excited to have the opportunity to try out Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water to see how it held up to my weekly workout schedule.

Where will your water take you

For the past few days, I’ve done just that. I’ve taken my Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water with me everywhere. All or nothing that’s me! I wanted to see how it held up to my workouts. But first a little info on Gelolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water.

Where Will Your Water Take You?

Where will your water take you

Some describe Gerolsteiner Mineral Water as nature’s sports drink. Bottled at the source, mineral water naturally contains calcium (84 mg) and magnesium. Two of the very essential minerals our bodies need everyday and especially important to replenish after exercise. With no sugar or sweeteners added, Gerolsteiner Mineral Water is naturally calorie free. Find out more about the health benefits of mineral water here.

A few years back when I gave up drinking diet soda, sparkling water was my go to. I loved the bubbles and they gave me the same sensation and satisfaction of drinking a carbonated beverage without the harmful ingredients. I’ve never looked back since! This past week I have enjoyed the clean, crisp taste of  Gerolsteiner and how easily I fit it right into my active lifestyle.

More calcium and magnesium is helpful with endurance exercise. Drinking more water is always a good thing and a great habit to embrace!

I agree it’s helpful to do a little self analysis every once in a while so this challenge should be fun

This is probably one of the best and easiest challenges to sign up for! I love that this water has so many benefits as well – like more calcium and magnesium.

    • Deborah Brooks says

      08/11/2017 at 7:39 am

Yes indeed a super easy challenge! See you there I hope

  5. Rachel says

    08/11/2017 at 7:41 am

We’ve been drinking it at dinner, too! Though I should slow my roll and hang onto it for the challenge… 🙂

I’ll have to look into mineral water. I never really thought about the minerals and that they could have some extra benefits.

I’m already doing a reset. 🙂 But then again, I have a half in about 6 weeks & would rather go into it at a good racing weight! And feel good in my running clothes!

I basically only drink still water and coffee during the week. I’m not a huge fan of carbonated beverages, but I’d be willing to give this a shot for the mineral power 🙂

    • Deborah Brooks says

      08/11/2017 at 5:04 pm

It would be fun to try!

  12. Abbey Sharp says

  13. Kimberly Hatting says

    08/11/2017 at 1:02 pm

I have tried (numerous times) to acquire a taste for sparkling water, but the fizzy-ness just isn’t my thing. I seldom ever drink soda anymore, but I think I drank that more for the flavor than the carbonated nuance. Go YOU! Maybe I’ll try to join you with a “plain water” detox of my own. 😉

    • Deborah Brooks says

      08/11/2017 at 5:06 pm

That sounds good too! Join us

  14. Liz @ I Heart Vegetables says

Yes check it out it’s a fun challenge

  15. Debbie says

    08/11/2017 at 2:43 pm

I did the challenge last year and enjoyed it. The only thing I finally cheated on was my coffee because I started having headaches after a couple days. I do love Gerolsteiner, though.

    • Deborah Brooks says

      08/11/2017 at 5:07 pm

I know not sure how I can get through the no caffeine

    08/11/2017 at 2:47 pm

Good for you for giving up the soda! I don’t like carbonation or bubbling beverages so I’d have to pass on this.

Sparkling mineral water is so refreshing. It’s perfect for hot summer. We drink a lot of mineral water in our house. Especially with our meals. I will check if we have Gerolsteiner brand here in Europe. Would love to try it!
