Looking for a sign to start (or restart) your fitness routine? This is it! Fall just might be the best time to up your fitness game. Here are 5 fabulous reasons to make this fall the best one yet.
Why Fall is the best time to up your fitness game
Perfect Weather
The temps are cooling off which make outdoor exercising way more inviting and pleasurable. Getting some fresh air while enjoying the changing leaves can’t be beat. Leaf peeping and crisp air anyone?
Back to routines
As the summer winds down, kids are back to school and summer vacations come to an end. It is easier to set and stick to routine-especially a fitness routine. There is more of an opportunity to plan your workout schedule and stick to it.
Meals are more predictable
Meal times are often more predictable and easier to plan ahead for during the fall months.
No pressure
Fall is exempt from the pressures we often feel at the start of a new year to make those sweeping resolutions. It is the perfect time to get into a routine that works before the holiday season begins. Instead of New Years being a start of resolutions, it can be a target to incorporate your new routine.
Boost your health
Focusing on your fitness routine this fall can boost your mental and physical health before the stress of the holidays. We all know that the madness of the holiday season can throw anyone off of their schedule. The sooner we begin that routine, the better chance we have to stick to it.

Most of these hold true for us but the meals. We are constantly fending for ourselves or eating on the go. We figure it out, but it’s definitely not regular or easy to schedule.

I really like that idea of starting a new habit before New Year arrives. If you start in October, you are all set for getting through the holidays without too much “damage” and you’re already in full swing by January.

It was in the 50s this morning and I wanted to weep with joy. It feels so good.
