If you are a regular reader around here, you know how much I love to run (obviously!). You probably also know how much to travel. Combining them both is just sheer heaven. Here is a peek into some of the fabulous places I have run in while traveling.
Who Runs the world part 1
A is for Aruba
We have spent the last few winter holidays in Aruba. It’s our “one happy island”.
B is for Bloomington
Both of my kids graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington. I have run many miles through the gorgeous campus.
C is for Chicago and Corning
I had to include Chicago of course! What a fun city to race in (twice). I also had to include Corning (Wine Glass Half).
D is for Dubai
If you think it’s hot here, try running in Dubai!
E is for East Falls Church
I do most of my weekly runs on the W & OD Trail outside of Washington, DC between Arlington and Falls Church, Virginia.
F is for France
I recently had a scenic run in St. Tropez, France.
G is for Grand Canyon
We were gifted with a spontaneous snow burst on our visit to the Grand Canyon.
H is for Houston
While in Houston in June, I popped into a last minute 8K race,
I is for Italy
Italy is a gorgeous country to run in. Will run for pizza!
J is for Jerusalem
I took a fun and scenic run tour while in Israel this summer,
K is for Ketchikan, Alaska
Talk about scenic places to run!
L is for Las Vegas
Terrible photo but fun run down the strip.I will be traveling there again later this year and I will get a do over photo of that sign.
It is so much fun to look back on all of the places I have had the chance to run in. Stay tuned for the second half of Run the World coming soon! Have you run in any of these places?
Thanks for helping to make the Runners’ Roundup a huge success by visiting all of the hosts: Me, Debbie, Jen, Lisa

Very well done, Deborah! I really love your photos, you always have extra-gorgeous ones. Yes, even the Las Vegas one captures the excitement well!
Believe it or not, although I’ve been to France many times, I’ve never run there! I’ll need to fix that.

You’ve run in some great places, especially recently! I used to travel so much more and my husband and I used to always run when we traveled. Now it’s a little trickier and we still have avoided flying for the past few years.

We do love to travel and we always loved to travel with our kids when they were younger. It does get easier to travel w kids and they learn so much
