Who runs the world? I do! As you all know, I love to travel and I love to run while I travel. Jumping onto this fun blog trend of running through the alphabet. Last week, I shared my running adventures from A-L. Today, we will finish up with M-Z. This half was a little more challenging!
Who Runs The World? I Do M-Z
M is for Maine
Coming up in a few weeks…The Maine Half Marathon.
N is for New York City
Of course, N is for NYC! I have run in New York many times but have yet to race there. Not to worry, I am planning to do the NYC Half in March. This is a shot from my City Running Tour in NYC last summer.
O is for Ontario
Technically, Niagara Falls is in Ontario. A few years back, we had a blast running a Ragnar race that ended at Niagara Falls.
P is for Philly
Philly is a really fun city to race and run in. A few of us did the Philly half in 2018.
Q is for Cinque Terre
I got a little creative with my “Q” placement but we will let it slide.
R is for Rockville (Maryland)
Just a hop, skip and a jump from my home, I have done many races in Maryland. One of the most fun is the Bethesda Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day.
S is for Singapore and San Francisco
I could not choose! Both of these cities are pretty epic to run in. I have run across the San Francisco bridge 3 times and it never gets old.
T is for Texas
I jumped into a last-minute race in Houston this summer. Whew, it is too hot there!
U is for Utah
I am headed to Park City, Utah this weekend for the Brooks Run Happy Team Camp. Stay tuned for photos.
V is for Vancouver and Virginia
I live in Virginia, so most of my runs take place there. I had a blast doing a City Running Tour in Vancouver a few years back.
W is for Washington, DC
It was hard to pick just one photo!
X ??? I have not come up with anything yet!
Y is for Yellowstone
I know that I have run in Yellowstone near Jackson Hole, Wyoming but that was pre-blog and I cannot find a photo! I promise it happened.
Z is for Arizona
I had to get a little creative with this one as well. I found the cacti so fascinating!
Thanks for taking another trip with me down memory lane from M-Z. It is always fun to look back on all the places we have run in the world. Where will your running shoes take you next?
Thanks for helping to make the Runners’ Roundup a huge success by visiting all of the hosts: Me, Debbie, Jen, Lisa

So many great places, Deborah! I like your creative solutions for the Q and the Z!
You could have done the same with Texas for the X. And then you could have used Tel Aviv for T!
Deborah Brooks says
Yes Q and Z were challenging. I hope to make it to New Zealand one day so that could be my Z

Great list! I did the Bethesda Turkey Trot one year. I think it was 2011? Its a little far from me but it was a fun race!
Deborah Brooks says
One of these days we are going to have to do a race together!

This alphabet theme has been a lot of fun! You’ve given me lots of places to add to my bucket list 😉 BTW, I love that sculpture (?) of the stacked cars!
Deborah Brooks says
Vancouver was such a cool city to run in! We did not have enough time there but it is super far. However, that is where the Seabreeze half marathon is…

Great places and memories. My stepson just got back from Singapore.
Excited about meeting up in Maine and NYC.
I’d love to run in DC and San Francisco.
AriZona – very creative. LOL
Deborah Brooks says
Yes can’t wait to see you in Maine! Wow, that is coming up fast 🙂
Jenny says
You did a good job with this! Yeah, I can’t think of an X either. Did anyone come up with an X???
Btw I’m in Texas right now and YES IT IS HOT. They shouldn’t even have races here in the summer.
Deborah Brooks says
Texas is just so hot! Hope your drop off went well
Jenn says
Next time, I’m jumping in your suitcase! So fun!
Deborah Brooks says
Now that would be fun 🙂
