I have so enjoyed getting to know everyone better and connecting with so many more friends through the Weekly Wrap this year. Thanks Wendy and Hoho for hosting such an inspiring weekly link where we can all support and encourage each other. This week I am joining the peloton!
Monday- 30 min elliptical + 60 min strength training
Always the best way to start the week for me. Lots of upper body and abs today.
Tuesday- 5 mile run and 1st Peloton class
Today’s run was one of the best I’ve had in a while. I am finally feeling like I can stretch out my intervals a bit more. Looking forward to more consistent paces in January. My Peloton was delivered today! I’ve been coveting one of these for a long time now. After paying for spin classes that I never made it to and belonging to a gym that did not have classes at times that worked for me, decided it was time to ditch those memberships. I am joining the Peloton team. Best birthday/holiday gift ever!
Today’s run was dedicated to one of our MRTT members who donated her kidney to her 14 year old daughter. Our whole group has come together to support them. It has really been so heartwarming to see. So far both mom and daughter are recovering well. #MRTTlove
Wednesday-rest day
Thursday- 3.5 mile run and 90 min strength training
Our Holiday Run was full of festive outfits today. These ladies just always make me smile. I had to double up today and get in the strength training session I missed yesterday. Yup legs were pretty shot and I was exhausted!
Friday- 45 min Peloton classes
Joining the Peloton officially today. I did 2 live classes back to back (20 min each) followed by a 5 min stretch class. It’s amazing how many classes they have on demand in addition to the live classes you can join and stream. Stay tuned for a whole review once I take a few more classes. Quite impressed so far!
Saturday- travel day to Aruba
Since we don’t celebrate Christmas (Hanukkah people here), it’s our family tradition to do a trip together over this week. This week will be more precious this year since the kids have both been away at school. The hubs and I are looking forward to having them all to ourselves this week.
While away next week, I plan to take a break from hard workouts and just have some fun. I hope to do some long walks on the beach, stand up paddle board and swim. Or I might just hang out and do nothing!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays my fit friends!

Belated happy Hanukah! Enjoy Aruba
I tried Peloton briefly last week as the hotel gym had it, but haven’t gotten fully hooked in. Look forward to following your adventures with it.
Love the festive attire

Because we don’t celebrate Christmas either, we also avoid going away over the Christmas week like the plague. But then again we don’t have kids.
Congrats on your Peloton! I’m sure you’re going to love it. Now enjoy the vacation (which I know you will).

Already relaxing and enjoying the warm sunshine

I’ve heard such great things about the Peloton bike, though not as great of things about their treadmill…!

Thanks! I have not tried their treadmill but I sure am loving the bike

How could you go on vacation and leave the Peleton behind? 😉 I hope you have a great time in Aruba — soak up the sunshine and those moments with your kids!

I think you have the right idea ditching the gym membership for a Peloton! Can’t wait to hear more as you try out the classes.
Hope you and your family have a great time in Aruba!!
