Happy Sunday! I, for one am glad to say Hello to February this year. It’s been a tough few weeks and I am happy to see a new month roll around. Fortunately, I’ve kept pretty busy this week! Let’s get right to the Weekly Wrap Hello February.
Weekly Wrap Hello February
Monday-30 minutes elliptical + 60 minutes strength training
Tuesday-4.25 mile run
Crazy windy and cold day but that won’t “stop” us.
Wednesday-20 min elliptical + 90 min strength training/boxing
Thursday- 4 mile run
Warmer temps and sunshine had us goofing around a bit mid run.
Friday- Vinyassa Yoga
Finally made it back to yoga this week. Checked out a new boutique studio. Namaste
Saturday- For the Love 10K
This week officially marks the start of the Cherry Blossom ten miler training! This is one of my favorite all time DC races. This will be my 7th time running it and this year, I am lucky enough to be one of the race ambassadors as well. With the race 9 weeks away, this week’s “long run” called for 4-7 miles. I figured why not kick that off with a small, local 10K race? My only goal for today was to make it through the 6.2 miles without anything hurting afterwards. A super chilly day and a hilly race? No problem. We did it! will run for cookies any day.
Pretty solid week for the start of February. Looking forward to tackling the Cherry Blossom plan in the next few weeks.
Hope to see you tomorrow for Meatless Monday where I will be sharing my Hummus & Pistachio Crusted Tofu.
Linking up today for the Weekly Wrap Hello February with Hoho and Wendy
