Epic Blogger Meet Up Week

Sunday- 25 ish  mile bike ride

The start of my epic blogger meet up week began with a bike ride through Leesburg to see the Virginia LOVE sign with Coco and Deb. Beautiful day for a ride, a real Ultimate Coffee Date and fit blogger photo shoot. #BloggersOnBikes LOl.

Epic Blogger Meet up week

Monday- 30 min elliptical + 60 min strength training

My legs were a little tired from the ride mostly arms and core work today.

Tuesday- 4 mile run + 60 m Vinyasa yoga class

My lower calf/achilles area is kind of bugging me when I run. Not sure what is going on there. Trying to keep it short and do some walk intervals. It was quite the sweaty one!

Epic Blogger Meet Up week

Wednesday- 90 m strength training + kick boxing

Wednesday workout never disappoints!

Epic Blogger Meet Up

Thursday- 4 mile run

That achilles area is still pulling while I run. Hoping it holds up for RnR Chicago and the epic blogger meet up weekend. Of course, that did not stop me from getting a fun photo.

Epic Blogger Meet Up

We were joined by Hoho, Wendy, Linda and Suz what a treat! Mimosas were flowing and so was the conversation. Like we have known each other for years!

Today is the RnR half and 10K races

I plan to do the 10K and hope that calf holds out for me. Look for a recap of all the Chicago runs, food and fun on Wednesday.

For now, I am just beyond thrilled that I got to spend the weekend with this amazing bunch of women. Now this might be the best Weekly Wrap ever! It will be hard to beat this Epic Blogger Meet Up Weekend with Wendy and Hoho.

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

It looks like you had so much fun! What a bummer about all the rain, though. Apparently, we had a lot at home as well, but it held out for our reunion in SWVA.

I hope you had a great race this morning! Can’t wait to see more pics on IG.

I really wish I could have been there, but our mini meet-up last weekend takes some of the #fomo sting away. Of course I would love to meet everyone, but meeting Kim’s mom is the icing on the cake! Glad you had so much fun!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      07/22/2018 at 5:35 pm

It was so amazing finally getting to meet you IRL! I feel like I’ve known you for a long time–so the meeting in person was like another link up, right? My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend together. I guess we will have to remedy that in the spring…

    • Deborah Brooks says

      07/23/2018 at 7:25 am

I feel like I have known you all forever and we were having a reunion of sorts. I am still smiling and yes lets make DC happen.

Loved, loved, loved meeting you! We’ve got to get back together. Enough said. I hope your Achilles feels better. I assume it didn’t bother you during the race…or maybe there was just too much other stuff to talk about. 😉 I seriously over packed because I couldn’t decide if it would be cool or warm. Wendy had to help sit on my suitcase so I could zip it. LOL. I wish we could have made that Sunday night dinner at the airport happen! Next time? Thanks for linking!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      07/24/2018 at 7:57 pm

Yes we will certainly make it happen again soon! DC Cherry Blossom is calling your name! I never got to wear those cute sun dresses I packed either 🙂
