Weekly Run Down Fall Frenzy

Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week was a fall frenzy of a week! I was just running from appointment to events and all the while trying to keep up my workouts. All good though! Here’s a peek into my week.

Sunday- Peloton core + power walk

It was a rainy and dreary day around here! I took advantage of a break in the showers to pop out for a power walk with a friend. The rainy day also motivated me to clean out some closets and do some organizing.

Monday- Peloton tread hike + lower body strength + core + afternoon walk + stretch

I had a brown mark taken off of my cheek via IPL so I did not want to take any photos until it looks better. I hid under my hat for a few days!

It felt so good to get back to real strength training after taking a week off of heavy weights. Later, when the rain tapered off, I ended up walking almost 5 miles with my weighted vest while listening to Peter Attia’s podcast on protein.

Tuesday-morning walk  + chest and tri strength + core + stretch

I met a friend for an early power walk and then retuned home to hit the weights.

Wednesday-Back and biceps strength

I was off to a morning blood test collection (I hate having to fast). The worst part of fasting until 10 am might be that I had to drink black coffee-lol.

After a proper coffee and snack, it was time for back and biceps strength. The afternoon was filled with a bunch of errands.

Thursday-Peloton bike + legs & shoulders strength + walk

I warmed up on my Peloton with an intervals and arms class before hitting the weights for leg and shoulder strength. Unfortunately, I was stuck at home waiting for the FedEx guy with a package I had to sign for. Not to worry, I made the most of that time by walking around my curl de sac waiting for him to arrive. Great way to get in those steps!

Friday-3 mile power walk +

It was a gorgeous fall morning for a power walk. I was pressed for time to get that done and prep for an evening event. My daughter and her fiancé are in town along with his parents for some wedding stuff. My son’s girlfriend’s parents are also in town! We have a busy weekend ahead with all of them!

Saturday-rest day stretch

I danced around in heeled boots all night and my feet were not so happy this morning. Honored my rest day with a Peloton stretch class.

It was a Fall Frenzy of a week! Hosting a brunch today for out of town guests! Happy Sunday

I’m with you–I hate fasting! But I usually schedule the first appointment of the morning so I can eat asap. And put half and half in my coffee!

    Have fun with your family!

Hhmmm. Seems like I need to check out Peter Attia.

I think my husband will be stuck at home today waiting for FedEx to bring him a new special order bike — he’s so excited!

I hope the wedding planning is going well!

Wow- this really was a fall frenzy of a week for you! I always feel discombobulated with I have a bunch of extra things like that- you did a good job of getting those workouts in anyway. And- ouch on dancing in heels! I think I would be crippled if I did that.

Never heard of Peter Attia either.

    Fasting? UGH!

    And heels? I couldn’t!

I’m so glad our rain has moved along. It was really getting difficult for a while.
Sounds like lots of fun things this week. I hope you had a great time!
