Weekly Run Down consistency and schedules are key

Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week was kind of about catching up with a bunch of things around the house. Nothing too exciting but consistency and schedules are key for me! I felt good with my workouts this week.

Weekly Run Down consistency and schedules

Sunday-Peloton tread class + walking around NYC

This morning I was lucky enough to get into another tread class at the Peloton studios this time with Jess King. She had us hiking up hills at 12% and doing some serious intervals. The class flew by and I was a sweaty mess-also hitting my highest output for a tread class.

She can dance on tread-I cannot!

Then I hustled over to a Philadelphia Eagles bar in midtown Manhattan to watch the Eagles get another win. It was loads of fun. That night, headed to a work dinner with my husband.

Monday-travel home + 45 min legs and core

We headed home this morning after enjoying a NYC bagel. It was later in the day and I wasn’t really excited about it but I got my tough Monday strength session in. Always happy afterwards!

Tuesday-chest and triceps strength + stretch + power walk

Happy to be back in y own bed and ready to hit my gym hard today. It felt good to up my weights on my chest press. Even though it was a dreary day, I got out for my afternoon power walk.

Wednesday-45 min back and biceps strength + Pilates core

Day 3 of my stength workout had me lifting heavy and flexing my biceps. I also joined in on the “Coretober” challenge that Coco shared with me. I feel like I am getting tons of great sneaky core in my current strength program but hey I don’t pass up a Peloton challenge!

Thursday-shoulders and triceps strength

I only had time for a short workout today before heading to synagogue for Yom Kippur services. Later, we celebrated the holiday over at my sister’s house.

Friday-cycle + full body strength + afternoon walk

It was a gorgeous day! I started off my Friday with a Peloton cycle class to warm up before finishing week 5 of my strength program with a 45 min full body strength.

Saturday-power walk and stretch

It was a beautiful day again and I took advantage with a nice power walk with my weighted vest.

Sounds like a super fun time in NYC. Yes, consistency is the key! It also sounds like your weather has cooled down a bit. i hope this is the start of a proper “fall.” We can’t get any cool air down here til it’s cold up there!

Being on a schedule is a great thing after traveling. Great workouts this week! Coretober looks like fun. That’s so cool that you got into the Peloton class again on your trip. How far out in advance do you have to get signed up for the in person classes?
