Oh, those Sweaty Betty leggings sound great – fleece-lined and three pockets!
I like that the winter tights are also available in brighter colours. All my winter tights are black – so boring!

You know I love my bright colors too! Sweaty Betty are fantastic can’t go wrong with any of their gear

I could use another pair of warm tights! I don’t have any fleece lined so that something I’m looking to try.

A definite must for outdoor running. They do sell out if you wait too long

Thanks. I have a few pair but could use more if we have a cold winter. Though I hope we don’t.

I like to be prepared! Can you have too many pairs of tights? LOL

I have multiple pairs of Rainier tights. Which I don’t run in, LOL! I use them as everyday wear, because I need something warm to walk Bandit in in the Winter!

You can’t go wrong with the North Face IMO either.

I do run a lot in my Skirt Sports Wonder Wool leggings & tops (like all the time) — that something I’d love to see come back!

The Ranier are great for sure. I also love the Northface they are a little thicker and warmer

I need to check these out…my winter tights are getting kind of blah. Thankfully I’m not in immediate need ….

I love all of these you can’t go wrong with any of them

When I think back to when I lived up north, and what I wore for running in the winter… sweatpants? Cotton leggings?- no wonder I hated it!!! Nowadays I wear shorts year-round, but I should probably have one of these leggings on hand in case I travel up north.

Isn’t funny what we learn over the years of running!?

I need a couple of new pairs of winter tights and have the Rainiers in my shopping cart now. I will also check out the Sweaty Betty pair.

    • Deborah Brooks says

      12/29/2021 at 7:51 pm

You won’t be disappointed with either or both of them!

  8. Jenn says

    12/29/2021 at 8:30 pm

Great rundown! Honestly, I’ve never needed “warm” tights. The regular ones do the trick for where I live.

    • Deborah Brooks says

      12/30/2021 at 2:14 pm

Yes I imagine you can run in shorts most of the year

  9. Debbie @ Deb Runs says

    12/29/2021 at 9:38 pm

I used to own a pair of fleece lined tights and looking back I can’t believe I was comfortable wearing them. Unless the temps drop into the low 20’s I wear my regular capris for running, and when it does get that cold, I wear a pair of thin tights over my capris. My fingers? Now that’s a different story and sometimes gloves covered with fleece mittens aren’t enough. Isn’t it funny how we all experience the cold differently?

    • Deborah Brooks says

      12/30/2021 at 2:14 pm

I still have not found the perfect pair of gloves yet! I do like a warmer tight in the 30’s and below especially on those windy or raining days

  10. Janelle @ Run With No Regrets says

    12/31/2021 at 2:37 pm

I don’t have any tights like these and I need to make an investment, especially since I do so much running in the winter! Thanks for the recommendations!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      12/31/2021 at 5:14 pm

You cannot go wrong with any of these! Yes, you definitely need some up there

I have a pair of Tracksmith tights with a brushed fleece lining – they are amazing for the cold!

yes, I have heard those are good too but have not tried them yet
