Summer Is Flying By! Weekly Run Down

thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. I was motivated and happy to be back at home this week so I opted to jump into a new 5 day advanced split class with Peloton’s Andy. Not sure this was my smartest move this week, but I started it so I am going to finish it! Summer is just flying by! It was super busy around here this week and I did not take too many photos but a peek into my week of fitness.

Weekly Run Down

I was super busy this week and really did not take too many photos!

Sunday-airport walk and fly home

After a quick breakfast with our daughter and her fiancé,  it was time to head back home. I was able to get in my Peloton airport walk though and that’s about it for today.

Monday-Peloton cycle + lower body & core strength + afternoon walk

I was anxious to get back to my regular schedule today. it felt good to warm up on the bike before tackling an advanced lower body and core class. Later, I did some walking errands to get more steps in.

Tuesday-morning power walk + chest and tri strength class + mobility class

I met a friend for a nice albeit drizzly power walk this morning. Later, I hit the weights for a tough chest and Tri workout from Peloton’s Andy followed by a mobility class.

Wednesday-Back and biceps strength + mobility

I had a busy day ahead but I got in my 45 min and day 3 of Andy’s advanced split which focused on back and biceps. Later, I headed over to my parents house to hang out with them for a few hours. I taught my dad how to use Siri lol. I can’t wait to see what kind of messages and calls I get from him ha! Hey did have fun saying, “Hey Siri”.

I made a delicious harissa spiced salmon and roasted tomatoes for dinner.

Thursday-pilates core + chest and tri strength + power walk

It was another busy day over here but I got in my day 4 of Andy’s strength program and then a nice power walk in the afternoon.

Friday-full body strength + pilates core + power walk

This was a tough workout week culminating in today’s 45 minute full body strength with Andy. 5 days of the new advanced strength program was both challenging and enjoyable. I will definitely repeat it again after a week off.

Saturday-core class

I got in a quick but challenging core class before heading to the airport-again! Highly recommend this class if you use Peloton. I enjoyed the core moves while using the foam roller.

Can you guess where I am going this week?

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

Off on a cruise you go!

I love that you were able to get in some of your routine workouts between your travel days. It can be very challenging to do that!

Hope you have so much fun on your next adventure!
