Thanks for joining me and Kim for rate weekly run down. This week we are starting to finally see some signs of fall creeping in. You know I am all for it!

Weekly Run Down Signs of Fall

Sunday- Peloton barre

I was still pretty tired from my delayed travel yesterday. Took it easy with 2 Peloton barre classes, numerous loads of laundry and a visit to the grocery store. It was also the start of the NFL season which is big time at our house.

Monday-Peloton walk + upper body strength + core + 30 min Peloton cycle

Trying to get back on my regular workout schedule this week. It started off well with 90 min of Peloton related activities and an afternoon walk.

Tuesday- Peloton walk + Peloton cycle + hot yoga class

I had an early morning Dr appointment with a new cardiologist that I love. Now, I can feel free to run with no restrictions yay. My only problem is now I am out of run shape!

Weekly run down

Afterwards, I jumped on a Peloton walk class and then a great cycle class. Later, I returned to Core Power Yoga for the first time in 3.5 years. I forgot how great it felt to get sweaty at yoga.

Wednesday- Peloton cycle + upper body strength + core + afternoon 2 mile walk

I had a solid full day of workouts with a little bit of everything. My sister and I met for a long overdue lunch and then I met a friend for a walk.

Did you catch my stretch of the day?

Thursday- run 4.25 miles + stretch classes

I was ready to get back out there with my squad today and the 65 degree temps made it ideal. Fall is starting to peak out at least in the morning. It is going to take some time to get “back up to speed” but I am feeling more optimistic about getting there. Slow and steady!

Friday-3 mile walk + stretch

Busy day here with shopping and prep for Rosh Hashanah tomorrow. It was a gorgeous morning for a walk and that’s all I got in today.

Saturday- Peloton barre and stretch

We spent the morning attending services at our synagogue for Rosh Hashanah. Happy New year to my friends that celebrate. Later, we went to my parents for dinner with the rest of the family.

Sunday-On the Plan-Run with my squad

Looks like it will be another cooler morning with temps finally in the 60’s and I am ready for it. Let’s do this fall.

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

I’m glad you got the go-ahead to run just as your fourth favorite running season is ending! Now you can be out there enjoying the cooler fall weather. It is crazy though how out of shape we get. Nothing really keeps you in shape for running other than running. But you’ll get it back!

The cooler morning air is nice for running and walking, but I will soon be shivering on my bike.
