Running Into November Weekly Run Down

Thanks for joining Kim and Me for the Weekly Run Down. We continue to have some amazing fall weather around here and I am all for it. I’m running into November which looks to be a busy month ahead. We’ve got birthdays, family events, Thanksgiving, and of course some travel. More on that later. Here’s a peek into my week of running and fitness.

weekly run down

Running into November

Monday- core + upper & lower body strength + Peloton cycle + 15 m of hip yoga

I was happy to be back to my heavier weights for lower body strength. Starting my Monday off with a hard workout always gets me in a good mood.

Tuesday- 5.5 mile run + stretch + 15 min yoga for hips

It was warm and humid today but the leaves were at full peak which made for a gorgeous run. I am happy to be getting back into my groove with pacing and distance.

Wednesday- upper & lower body strength + core + yoga for hips & feet

One of those strength workouts I know I am going to feel tomorrow-in a good way. My feet enjoyed a 10 minute yoga for feet class. I decided to step out of my activewear for a normal person photo. The trees are just beautiful here this week.

Thursday-5 mile run + stretch + core

It was a gorgeous albeit warm day. I felt really good out there today and happy to be running into November.

Friday-lower & upper body strength + core + yoga for hips + PT appt.

Good strength session today with heavy weights. My PT is really happy with my progress and my hips seem to be more in alignment. I am on an as needed basis and cleared for speed work. Yay! I have a few more days of my yoga for hips challenge. Full review coming soon.

Saturday- Rest Day and stretch

It was so gorgeous out, I took a little neighborhood stroll. Other than that, rest day.

Sunday-On the plan 6 mile run

Looks to be another unseasonably warm day. I plan to do 6 miles and keep on running into November.

Glad you’ve been able to enjoy the outdoors. This fall has been nice. We had unseasonably warm weather here too most of the week but yesterday, the wind blew that all away! Most of the leaves are down now too.

    Have a great week!

We probably have a few more days of the leaves before they all fall. There is something peaceful about running on the crunchy leaves

It certainly was a gorgeous week and it sounds like you made the most of it as did I. I just checked this coming week’s forecast and it sounds like we’ll have more seasonable weather after today.

Other than being a little too warm for marathoning (haha!) the weather was gorgeous last week. I’m sad to see all of the leaves being raked up in piles now. I miss the beautiful colors! Glad to hear you are making such great progress and your PT is happy!

Yes, it was way too warm for marathons and half marathons!
