We all know that adding in some strength training to our running routines is good for us but we can’t always find the time. Between kids and working and kids and laundry and running well, frankly it can be hard to fit it all in. Sometimes you just need a quickie! Today, I am sharing with you my killer, quickie 10 minute, no equipment, go to glute workout that you will definitely be feeling the next day. All you need is 10 minutes. Now that’s a quickie I can get on board with. 🙂

Repeat this sequence three times through without stopping. Really think about keeping your core and glutes engaged throughout and I promise you will feel it the next day. With yoga pants season upon us it’s the perfect time to give those glutes some attention. LOL

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

Sometimes we don’t have time to get to the gym, don’t have time to setup a computer to watch a video, sometimes we can’t get to equipment, like when we travel! Having easy go-to exercises we can do anywhere is great for just those times! I am keeping this with me! A simple picture on my phone is all I need and of course some motivation to get it done! Thanks for this!!

    • Deborah Brooks says

      09/28/2016 at 4:01 pm

Perfect hope it works well for you and your glutes 🙂

  13. Crystal Renaud says

My favorite non-equipment strength move? Planking! (and stair running with triple steps…slowly…you will feel every glute muscle engage with these).
