Oh, it’s that time again already! These March 2025 Runfessions and Confessions kind of snuck up on me. Let’s dive right in! thanks for Marcia for hosting.
I Runfess and Confess…
I can’t believe I am going wedding dress shopping with my daughter this weekend! How am I possible old enough to have a daughter who is getting married? I will also runfess that we have a jam packed weekend of shopping appointments in Chicago and I won’t have time to meet up with any of my friends this time.
I Runfess and Confess…
My mother brought over my wedding dress that has been sealed up in her basement for almost 30 years. We took it out and looked at it but I have not tried it on. It is funny how the styles change so much! Should I? I’m pretty sure it won’t fit but perhaps I will try it on. Oh, how 30 years and 2 children change you body. I was hoping my daughter could use some part of my dress and incorporate it into hers in some way. We shall see!
I Runfess and Confess…
Since we are on the topic of weddings…We are about to celebrate our 30th anniversary in May. We have something fun planned and I look forward to sharing all the details soon. It is amazing to realize that I have been married longer than I was single. Time sure does fly!
That’s all I’ve got to Runfess and confess this March 2025. We are in full on wedding mode here! Join us next week for the April Ultimate Coffee Date.
Enjoy your weekend! Dress shopping is fun (been there, both with wedding dress & numerous prom dress excursions with my daughters). I love the idea of incorporating your dress with your daughter’s 🙂
Let’s hope she does too! 🙂
How exciting that you’re going wedding dress shopping! I do love the idea of incorporating part of your dress into your daughters. Enjoy your weekend!
I love the idea too and I hope she does give:)
How fun to be wedding dress shopping with your daughter! Have a great weekend!
thanks so much!
What an exciting (and hectic!) time! Wedding dress shopping with your daughter sounds so special—even if it feels a little surreal.
I say go for it – try on your own dress, Deborah! You might be surprised that it fits better than you think! In any case, it will bring back some laughs and sweet memories.
very true thanks!
You should totally try on your old dress! I think mine is in my closet and I could totally see doing a night with it on!
How exciting for your daughter and you! It’s got to be such a different experience with a daughter than with a son! I know you will have the most amazing time planning this wedding!
Yes it is exciting and also surreal!
