Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. It’s our birthdays week! My husband and I have birthdays 2 days apart (well, 4 years and 2 days but who’s counting?!) This week, offered a bunch off ways to celebrate big and small. We ended the week celebrating with our kids (the best) and lots of friends. Don’t worry, I still kept up my activity all week!
It’s our birthdays! Weekly Run Down
Sunday- 2.5 mile walk + foam rolling class
My rest day this week. It was another beautiful fall day and I couldn’t resist a walk through the neighborhood followed by some massage gun action and foam rolling class.
Monday- Peloton cycle + core + chest/triceps strength day
Today I started the 4th week of Rebecca’s strength program (Peloton) and I’m definitely feeling stronger. I’m kicking off my birthday week. Later, I went out to dinner with some of my squad for dinner and would you believe we forgot a photo?!
Tuesday-Birthday miles + legs & core strength
It was a gorgeous morning to get in some birthday miles and coffee with my squad. I am still plugging along with my 1:1 intervals. Grateful to be back out there.
Later, we attended a book signing party downtown and went out for dinner.
Wednesday-Peloton cycle + legs and biceps strength + stretch + PT
Now that I am in week 4 of this strength program, I am really starting to feel a lot stronger. Using heavier weights and using more reps feels good!
Thursday-3 mile run/walk + barre
I moved up to 2:1 intervals today with no problems on this gorgeous,s unit November day. Today, was my husband’s birthday so the week of birthdays continues. We had a nice romantic dinner at home.
Of course, I had to get my Starbucks red cup. Truth be told, I do not even like the taste of Starbucks coffee at all. I figured every good influencer needs one. So here’s mine.
Friday- Peloton cycle + back & biceps strength + stretch
I had another birthday lunch with my sister and mom. We are really doing a full on week celebration this year. After all, life really should be lived and celebrated to the fullest!
Saturday-Birthday party!
Our daughter flew in this morning yay! We are continuing to celebrate our birthdays with a big party. It is a Philadelphia foodie theme and should be lots of fun. I will share photos later!
We had some fun signature drinks that were a big hit.
I did have this fabulous running 🏃 themed cake
Now a few days to recover before Thanksgiving!

It’s neat to have your birthdays back to back like that. A and I have our birthdays within 10 days of each other, but the rest of our big days are spread out.
