Thanks for joining me and Kim for the Weekly Run Down. Hello October! I am so glad to see you. I’ve dreamed about you and now you are here. I can’t wait to take advantage of all the cozy temps and colorful leaves you will bring.

Weekly Run Down

Sunday-core + upper body strength + weighted 3 mile walk

I normally don’t strength train on Sundays, but hey why not? Later, I met up with a friend for another hilly walk. It is still drizzly and gross. When will it stop?

Monday- Peloton ride + core + lower body strength + afternoon walk

Celebrating #NationalCoffeeDay with a strong start to my day. I hit up the bike for a warm up then grabbed those heavies for some lower body strength. Later, I met up with a friend for another rainy walk. (Again)

Weekly run down

Tuesday-Peloton cycle class + core + tread hike

It was absolutely pouring this morning (again) so I moved my run to Wednesday. Instead, I hopped onto the bike for a fun Bruno Mars class followed by a tread hike. Joining Coco, Kim and Michelle for the October Peloton Daily Core challenge.

Weekly run down

Wednesday- 4 + miles of run/walk + core

Today’s run was a rainy day makeup from yesterday although it was in fact, still raining! Hello October thought Not October weather yet. There was lots of walking breaks but I am out there. Later, did my core class of the day and stretch. Prep and decor arranging for Rosh Hashanah tomorrow. We are hosting this year.

Weekly run down

Thursday -Peloton cycle + hosting Rosh Hashanah dinner

I hopped on the Peloton Jewish New Year ride before heading to synagogue for Rosh Hashanah services. It has been a really challenging year for those of us in the Jewish faith. It has been emotional, heart breaking and scary many times over the last year. Hoping this new year brings more peace and security for us all.

Weekly run down

I hosted dinner this year and was very excited about my table decor. Each place setting had mini honey jars and apples (the symbol of the sweet new year ahead). I stuck with the apple theme and created these fun flower vases. Now I feel lots of self imposed pressure to out do myself for Thanksgiving.

Friday- 3.5 m weighted vest walk + core + clean up

we slept in after a late night and woke up to pleasantly better weather. I swapped my indoor hike for an outdoor walk with my vest. I’m ready to up the weight soon. Later, it was cleaning up from last night. That is the worst part of hosting! It usually takes me a few dishwasher cycles and a couple days to get everything back from where it came from!

Weekly run down

Saturday -Peloton bike/strength split class + 3 mile vest walk + core

A bunch of new Peloton programs came out this week and I had to try them. I jumped on the bike & strength combo class. More on that later. Then, met up with a friend for another walk. We finally have nice weather! Hello October!
