Leave it to me to pop in and show you the good stuff you did not even know you needed! I’m doing a quick review of H20 Audio Tri2 open ear waterproof headphones. These were gifted to me and below is my honest opinion. this post does contain affiliate links.
H20 Audio TRI 2 Open Ear Headphones Review
These are an all in one open ear headphone with a built in MP3 player and Bluetooth. They are designed to move with you from running, walking, cycling and swimming or where ever your sweaty adventures take you.
Why I loved them
Open ear design
These headphones are so lightweight, I forgot I was wearing them but also felt secure that they stayed in place. The open ear design allows me to hear my music while also being able to hear my surroundings. They worked perfectly with my hat and sunglasses for a walk or run.

Bluetooth pairing
H20 audio paired so easily with my Bluetooth to allow me to listen to music, podcasts and take a call effortlessly.
Battery life
I’m impressed with the 9 hour play time battery life.
Waterproof
Finding a pair of headphones that are 100% waterproof and stay on while swimming is no easy task. I was able to wear these with or without swim goggles and never once felt like they would fall out of place. The sound underwater is pretty amazing.
Both a Pro and a Con
MP3
To use the headphones underwater, you have to switch to MP3 mode. This does require you do download your playlist in advance onto the headphones. This is very easily done through the H20 Audio app (free) but is an extra step. Having said that, the built in MP3 player holds up to 2000 songs so that you could preload it as a one and done.
If you are someone who is looking for a waterproof open ear headphone that can take you from walking, to running to cycling and swimming-the Tri2 Pro multi-sport headphone from H20 audio is your pick.
I’m sure its nice to have headphones you can use while swimming! I do think it would be annoying to download songs, but if you swim alot it may be worth it.
They are great for swimming and in reality you only have to download a playlist one time and you are set
So cool that you can wear them swimming! Love that you found something that works well for you!
They are great for summer!
I received a pair of these last winter to test and review. I love them and I use them all the time. I have not tried the MP3 player yet, but I think it would be useful if for some reason I didn’t have my phone. Or if I started swimming underwater, lol. Great review and I’m glad you also liked them!
I do like them and the sound quality is fantastic
I’m not a swimmer but I think they’re such a great idea! If I was swimming I’d definitely need some music to keep me from being bored to death. 🙂
They are really fabulous
I have downloaded MP3s on my watch and yes, it’s an extra step. In fact, I rarely update the songs because it’s quite a chore to do it (probably made worse because I rarely do it). That being said, it seems so odd to have music (or whatever) playing while you swim! I think I would really like it though because swimming back and forth is not that exciting to me. Thanks for the review- I wondered how well the sound would be compared to something physically placed in your ear!
I was really impressed with the sound and I have had a few other pairs in the past that were not as good
