      • I couldn’t let summer slip away without just one more salad recipe. The peaches are so good this summer that I knew I wanted to do something with them. Today, I’ve changed up my usual cole slaw recipe and added in some wonderful grilled peaches. Amazing!! Hope you enjoy this Grilled Peach Summer Slaw.

I couldn’t let summer slip away without just one more salad recipe. The peaches are so good this summer that I knew I wanted to do something with them. Today, I’ve changed up my usual cole slaw recipe and added in some wonderful grilled peaches. Amazing!! Hope you enjoy this Grilled Peach Summer Slaw.

Grilled Peach Summer Slaw-perfect salad to end summer

Grilled Peach Summer Slaw
Recipe Type: salad, side
Author: Confessions of A Mother Runner
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 10 mins
Total time: 15 mins
Serves: 4-6
Perfect summer salad featuring grilled peaches
Ingredients
  • For the salad:
  • 3 cups of shredded cabbage (red or green)
  • 3 cups of broccoli slaw or shredded brussels sprouts
  • 2-3 fresh peaches cut in half
  • 3/4 C slivered almonds
  • olive oil
  • Dressing:
  • 1/4 c sesame oil
  • 1/2 c rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp honey
Instructions
  1. Pre heat grill and lightly brush peaches with olive oil to prevent sticking
  2. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side to obtain grill marks
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool
  4. Assemble salad in a large bowl adding almonds
  5. Combine sesame oil, vinegar & honey and drizzle over top of slaw
  6. Slice peaches and add on top

 So simple yet so good! The perfect salad for the end of summer.

    I wish I would have seen this last night! We have peaches in the house and we were grilling last night. I hadn’t thought about grilling fruit but I’m sure it is amazing!

    You’ve got the special diets covered. I love grilled fruit but I don’t think I’ve tried grilling peaches. I need to try it. Have you ever had grilled pineapple. In a salad or topped with yogurt. It’s delish!

    I love this! Not only does it have grilled peaches (which are amazing!), but it doesn’t use mayonnaise. This sounds delicious!

    To be honest I’ve never grilled fruit. I’ve been seeing quite a few recipes lately, especially with grilled peaches that I may have to try (quickly, before the season is over!)

    I love grilled peaches! The sugar caramelizes on the edges – they’re bursting with juicy sweetness. Adding them to slaw is such a great idea – once again you nailed it!

    This looks delicious!! I especially love the dressing and how simple and flavorful this salad is. I may have to whip it up later this week when we have unplanned company coming in (funeral).

    Yum! Coleslaw is such a refreshing side dish, and I love the idea of adding fruit. Grilled peaches are something I’ve actually really wanted to try making too!

    Mouth.Watering…. This looks so good! I’m pretty sure I have all the ingredients at home with the exception of the broccoli slaw or brussels sprouts, but I’m going to grab one of them tonight on my way home. Can’t wait to make this.

    Never would have thought to grill peaches! I actually just bought arugula because I saw a peach salad recipe (rarely do I add fruit to my salads), so perhaps I’ll try grilling them as well!
