      • Earlier in the summer, my MRTT mamas and I had a fun post workout lunch date at Panera. We all loved seeing how Panera has changed their menu and really upgraded their ingredients this summer. We noticed that the salad dressings no longer contain any artificial colors preservatives, sweeteners or flavors. Instead they are flavored with fresh herbs and lemon just like you might flavor your dressings at home.
      •
      • I was completely starving after my swim class the other day and remembered that Panera had a call ahead Rapid Pick up. Perfect! You can order on line and pick up right on the shelf under your name. No waiting! Just the way I like it when I have the “rungries”.
      • I decided to try the Soba Edamame Bowl (vegetarian) and paired it with a 1/2 of the Power Kale Caesar salad.  I ordered it without chicken and asked for the dressing on the side. I checked my order before leaving just to make sure and perfect just the way I ordered it.
      • The Soba noodle bowl was packed with spinach, cabbage & mushrooms in a miso soy broth. Paired with the Power Kale salad I had a filling, healthy lunch that I can feel good about eating. I like knowing that the ingredients are fresh and free of preservatives.
      • All of the menu items now have calorie counts so it’s pretty easy to match up menu items to suit anyone’s individual needs. No need to guess what might be in your food. I was happy with my meal and it was a great balance of carbs and protein. Just what I need after my swim class.
      • I am a big fan of their coffee so couldn’t help but get one of those as well. If you are looking for something cold, Panera now has a variety of unsweetened iced teas.
      • You all know I love to cook and do prefer to make my own meals, however sometimes I need to grab something on the go. I love knowing that I can order a healthy good, clean meal at Panera every once in a while and feel good about eating it. #FoodAsItShouldBe

I’m glad to see you had a delicious lunch. I tried their kale salad – I think it was the Caesar one. It was good – went too fast or perhaps I was too greedy and ate it too quickly. LOL.

LOL then you might have to go back!

  17. Elena says
