Yes, I do get excited when I discover fun new fitness finds. I also get excited to share them with you. While mentioning to a friend that I was feeling ready to up my weights (thank you Peloton strength), she suggested trying a set fo weight clips. Let me tell you about them. Weight Clips Review
Micro gainz weight clips add-ons are just what they sound like: 1.25-pound weight clip that fits onto your existing dumbbells. Genius right?! The clip easily opens up and attaches right to your dumbbell.
What I love about them:
So many Options!
Having a set or better yet 2 sets of weight clips creates so many options for the home gym exerciser. For example:
Your 5 lb weight becomes a 6.25weight or a 7.5 lb weight
Your 10 lb dumbbell becomes an 11.25 lb or 12.5 lb dumbbell
Your 15 lb dumbbell becomes a 16.25lb or 17.5 lb weight
And so on…You get the idea. You know have a much fuller set of weights at your disposal.
Space saving
Using weight clips saves so much space in a home gym. These little weights take up no space at all.
Cost-effective
Investing in a set or 2 of weight clips is way more cost-effective than purchasing another set of weights. Heavier weights are pretty pricey.
As you can tell, I am pretty pumped (pun intended) about these weight clips. I love how they allow me to gradually increase my weights and test how it feels to increase them. Perfect for any home gym and Peloton strength class. You can find a set for yourself here.

These clips are a great idea! I like that they are nice and slim – easy to take on a trip as well!
I use adjustable dumbbells at home because they don’t use much space. So handy, but it does take a minute to adjust them between exercises.

I am really finding them very handy!

These sound great! Does it seem like they would work on all weights? I feel like for some of my smaller ones they would make it harder to fit my hand on the dumbbell because they are already kind of small.

I’ve used them on different sized weights. I would say they would work on 8 lbs and up. They are very handy

What a great find.
I don’t use weights and go to the gym but I’m sure others do.

they are a great find!

I’ve never heard of these but WHAT A GREAT IDEA. Especially with upper body, sometimes it’s too much to increase by an entire five pounds. My gym does have more variety, but at home we only have 5, 10, 15… my daughter has been lifting (a little) at home, so I might get these for her.
Deborah Brooks says
yes, they are so helpful for home weights. I love all the options they are providing me

Oh, that’s really smart! Dumbbells have gotten so pricey and that’s a great way to increase your weights without having to commit to the real thing! Thanks for sharing!
Deborah Brooks says
yes, exactly! They are really useful and practical

These sound intriguing! I’ve been looking for a pair of 12# dumbbells but these might be just what I need. Thanks for the review!

Unfortunately after my terrible incident I cannot use anymore weights.

I think these are a brilliant idea! For one thing, it allows people to increase weight more moderately than jumping to the higher dumbbell size. And who need all those mid-weight dumbbells anyway? I like that they can fit on a variety of types of dumbbells too.

They are genuis-great fitness buy!
